I am a 52 year old homemaker who has loved The Lord of the Rings for 40 years. I write Hobbit centered stories with a preference for stories featuring Pippin, although not all of them are. I also enjoy various hand-crafts and I do calligraphy, draw and paint, fence foil and sabre, and play fiddle.

• The Blessing

  Story by Golden and Pearl Took. Tolkien has Pippin suffering no permanent damage from the troll falling on him - but what if he had? How would Pippin, Merry, Frodo and Sam handle it? It is reasonable to think he might have and this story will explore that possibility. The idea for this story is Golden’s, who is an Occupational Therapist, and is being written by Pearl Took, who sits at home and writes *L*. We are working together to bring this story to life.

• Remembering Anew

  First there was "Remember", which I never thought would birth a sequel. It was followed by "Remembering More" and "Remembering Aright". All of these are in my Pearl's Pearls collection. "Remembering Anew" continues the story and will be more than one chapter long, so I'm posting it on it's own. Jebbin and Other Brandbuck, two descendants of both Merry and Pippin, struggle with the Shire's history of the Travellers four hundred years after their return from the Quest.

• Thoughts in the Night

  Merry has been brought back from near death under The Black Breath. He, Pippin, Legolas and Gimli spent much of the next day in the garden and now it is evening. An apprentice healer thinks the small Guard of the Citadel is not doing well and so follows him into Merry's room. This is the story of that night.
