Aspects of Aragorn by Inzilbeth
This is Aragorn's story, told in forty-two individual tales, which span from the day of his naming to the penning of 'The Tale of Aragorn and Arwen'. Each chapter explores a different aspect of his life and, collectively, they draw together all the known facts at our disposal into one strictly canon-based saga. Winner at 2009 MEFA Epilogue: 'The Tale of Aragorn and Arwen' This story is now complete.

It is October, T.A. 3000, and the Dúnedain continue to dwindle, a scattered remnant held together by hope in their Chieftain. But what happens when the Chieftain’s own hope starts to falter? An exploration of tragedy, grief, injury and illness and its effects on "the most hardy of living Men". Complete. 1st Place winner, 2009 MEFA. Rated for violence, angst, and OC character death. To Find a Heart by Cairistiona
The birth of a Man plunges Elladan into a journey of anguish and joy. A birthday story, complete in one chapter, for Lady Roisin. Features Elladan, Elrohir, Elrond and a very young Aragorn and a brand new King Elesser, and other canon characters like Gilraen, Ivorwen and Dírhael. Unbeta’d; the characters are Tolkien’s; the mistakes my own. Rated for battle scenes and character death.

Elf, Interrupted: Book One: Glorfindel Redux by Fiondil
Glorfindel died... Glorfindel returned to Middle-earth... but what happened to him between these two events? Rating due to high angst level and adult themes, though nothing graphic. This one is for Alassiel, the best beta-mom in all of Arda, because she loves my depictions of the Valar, especially Lord Námo. MPA 2007: 3rd Place: Undying Lands; MEFA 2007: 2nd Place: Drama (Elves in Later Ages).

Hope Comes for Estel by Stefania
In the days before his Coronation, Aragorn contemplates what it means to be king in a time of peace. The job is overwhelming, but help just might come from an unexpected visitor. Tolkien left a gap. Jackson didn't film it, but more than a few have written about this important meeting. Here is my version. ***Middle Earth Fanfiction Awards 2008 - Honorable Mention, Drama Featuring Aragorn**

Senses by Misty
Aragorn suffers through an injury that robs him of sight and hearing, leaving him to fumble alone in the dark, to experience the world through only touch. This was written based on the Middle-earth challenge prompt #31: Touch, and should be considered a prompt inspired fic. It can be considered AU, as I don't think Tolkien intended for Aragorn to be deaf and blind at any point in his life.

The Other Balrog-Slayer by Fiondil
Most of the songs sung about the Fall of Gondolin revolve around Glorfindel, but there was another who fought a Balrog that night and paid the ultimate price. A story for Veteran's Day and dedicated to all the nameless unsung heroes of Arda whose deeds of valor are known only to Eru. Thanks go to Alassiel for the beta-read.

Rest and Recreation by Raksha The Demon
Imladris is a place of refuge; of quiet contemplation for weary travelers. But alas, it doesn't suit the Captain-General of Gondor very well. What's a bored Boromir to do in the tranquil Elvish haven? Written in honor of the birthday of Branwyn, beta extraordinaire of this and my other stories.

Lighting Fires by Gwynnyd
How do you convince a boy to stop skipping school when he doesn't know he's supposed to grow up to be king? Elrohir gets handed the task by a very exasperated Erestor, and learns some things about Estel he didn't expect. For Allie Meril, who wanted something about a student of Arda: in any study, any place, any time. With many thanks to the legion of beta readers who helped me thwap this into shape and caught, hopefully, all my typos and backwards curly quotes: River Girl, Beregond5, Sulriel, Gandalf's Apprentice, Pen52, Oshun, LadyA, Patti Baggins, and anyone else I may have forgotten. Edited 9/9/06: italics added, typos fixed
