I got into LotR fanfiction by coincidence, some years ago as I was searching for some information in the net. I found myself in a story of Cassia & Siobhan's Mellon Chronicles. It really caught me and I read then the complete series in the right timeline, as it fortunately can be found in the net... That was my first encounter with fanfiction, and I really enjoyed it. I could not stop until I had finished reading the last story and then I regretted it was finished.
I searched for more stories and I found some amazing ones.
There are such talented authors out there who are writing wonderful stories. It is a challenge to find matching words to express my admiration and state of emotion. They truly just overwhelm me and leave me speechless.
And for the fun of it, I started my own attempts at writing fics, and I found that I really do enjoy it. |
