| Biography: | Er, welcome to my profile page! Not quite sure why you're here, but hey, I'm glad that you are. Let's get straight down to business.
My name is Victoria, as far as you need to be concerned. I go by Victoria, Vikki, Vikki-chan, and occasionally the full penname 'Victoria Hughes'. I am a 19-year-old college student who is shamelessly addicted to anime, manga, fanfiction, and Lord of the Rings. My major is Economics, only because I want to make some money when I graduate. My first love is English, because I love to write. What kind of stories do I write? Well, if you're looking for stories about Hobbits or Dwarves, you're at the wrong place; you probably won't find many stories about Men (save Aragorn) here, either. My first love is the Elves, and among Elves, my first love is Celeborn, although more of my stories center on Legolas rather than him. The Silmarillion was a little slice of heaven for me. All that history, and all those Elves! I'm a pretty straightforward kind of writer. My plots aren't deep or twisted, if indeed there is a plot at all; I prefer to write stories that have deep character introspection or interaction. Tolkien created so many events for us, especially in the Silmarillion, but he left the door open to not only interpretation but character impact. It's this door that I most love to step through. Why do I write at all? Well, I write LotR fanfiction because there are so many characters who need to have the untold parts of their tales brought into the light.
