I have been a LOTR fan since my 14th birthday (1/12/77). I spent hours as a teenager and college student wondering about what went on beyond what was written in the books. I even wrote a few things down, but had no idea that there could be such a thing as fan fiction.
Early on my favorite character was Merry. I identified with him. As I've gotten older, my interest has shifted to Pippin. I still like Merry, but the biggest part of my fandom heart is given to Pippin.
I wrote my first official story last year, and I hope to keep writing them as the muses strike. |
