I'm a 21 year old manic living in Salt Lake City, Utah. I've been writing forever, but never well. Writing is my medicine, as are reviews and feedback. I am an anthropology/history double major, with a minor in english (what the hell am I going to do with that?)*~*~*My first story, 'Alone Among Masses,' was started in my anthropology class. I usually outline and plan my stories, but I didn't with this one. I'm not sure why. I just took it chapter by chapter, never knowing what was going to happen, or how the story would end. I am doing somewhat of the same thing with the sequel, 'The Making of a Man'(which I really didn't want to write, but succumbed to my reviewer's requests.)*~*~*I have tried diligently not to have my stories contain any Mary Sues. The OC in my first story, Xanthe, is NOT one! My little sister is named Xanthe ('yellow' in Greek). Her hair happens to be blond- she is smart, funny, strong, and yes, she does look like a fairy. I had her in mind when I formed my character. But she is also fiery tempered, shy...yeah, that's about it. Forgive me.*~*~*I have my work on fanfiction.net as well, and would like to make a few author recommendations: LadySilma (insanely talented), Ithilien, fan81981, Nemis, daw the minstrel, aidenfire, Nilmandra (duh!), Iluvien, CinnamonGrrl (who does some of the only good crossovers I have ever read).
