I wrote this for "a conspiracy's" Hobbit-Centric Remix Challenge - my very first Remix. The author I was assigned was Dreamflower and the story I chose to remix was "When the King Comes Back - the Great Smials". I chose to focus on the relationship between Pippin and his parents, their reconciliation when he came home from the war, and their anguish and confusion when he went missing.
