| Just a dream - quite a scary one! Very Ferdi - 'mixed up in the way of dreams with the memory of the boy caught with the Men who'd entered the Shire just after the New Year, in search of the Thain's gold.' He acts very tough and ruthless, but his soft spot is young people. Was the boy hanged? How old is old enough to die by Gondor's rules. I love the way Ferdi can't quite credit that it is he who is ill, not Pippin. Author Reply: Quite a scary dream! As to the fate of the boy, that will be revealed at a later time.
