| I seem to remember having seen this on LJ; I don't remember if I commented or not, but I really like this snippet. I can just see Boromir, embarassed to be in the library. I don't suppose Gondor had library fines, but I'll bet they could have used them, LOL! Author Reply: LOL! Perhaps re-arranging all the scrolls in alphabetical order... although I think Faramir would have like that too much *grin* | |

| Boromir in the library - interesting concept, and not one we see too often in fanfic, unless he's looking for Faramir! I choose to believe he did take the scrolls out himself; and just became sidetracked, but it also possible that he's returning them for Faramir...Nice work! Author Reply: Who knows why he was there? It makes you wonder what the scroll is about... especially when he quickly mentions that he didn't borrow it. But why wouldn't make Boromir use of the archive of Minas Tirith? In my perspective it can be full of maps, strategic battle plans from previous Captains and Stewards. I can tell you that this drabble, based on a real life situation, has unleashed a bunny that might be explored further. Thanks for leaving a review, I really appreciated it! | |
