Where do you think these things up? I can't wait to see what you have in store for Pip to "Get Even" hehehe... Author Reply: I have no idea where the ideas for these come from. It might frighten me if I did. LOL So glad that you enjoyed it and thank you for the review.

ROTFL....! Oh, poor Pippin is too cute--and what trooper! Bless his hobbity heart. That darned Merry again (snickering)...what shall we do with him??? I love these little stories; they're always funny, sad, cute, or else I'm wringing my hands over trusting little Pip. This tale in particular was fantastic in that is portrayed the entire family interacting, and those are especially my favorite. Thanks for sharing! Pippinfan Author Reply: Thanks you! This one started out with only a few characters and wound up growing as I wrote. In fact, the bees were a last minute entry. It suddenly occured to me that bees would simply have to show up with all of that molassas and all of those flowers. I was just going for something embarrassing and messy and wound up with painful as well. I just never know where these things are going. I am sure that Merry will get his at some point in the future because Pippin did seem determined. Thanks for the review!

OMG, this is priceless. Pippin in his underwear and molasses, in the garden. Esmeralda must be truly frustrated. Lovely short story, and I have done more laughing in the last bit than I'd expected. Gorgeously funny! Author Reply: Oh, good, laughter! Exactly what I was going for on this one. Glad you enjoyed it. I am very sure that Esmeralda wasn't laughing but I did hope that everyone else might. Thanks!

Just adorable. I especially like the intro, and the "apology" scene between Merry, Berry and Pip. That was quite an adventerous breakfast, lol. Author Reply: Funny thing about the intro, the story was written when I decided that it needed a bit of framing. It originally started with Merry and Berilac outside laughing. I put the intro on afterward and I am very glad that it worked! Breakfast is never dull with hobbits but this one does out-do itself a bit. Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Those lads! :D I absolutely love the conversation between Merry and Pippin on the end. They love each other so much. Lovely! :D Author Reply: I suspected that Merry would have to get even for the prank with the box that Pippin managed to pull off and I also figured that Merry would be very creative with his pranks. Gald you liked it. In the end, they simply can't stay angry with one another.

H'mm. I don't think Uncle Doc is going to be very pleased with Merry and Berilac. Since he has a damaged teen who required extensive bathing; has been stung himself; has a very irritated wife plus an assortment of other annoyed lasses, including a Pansy traumatised by the sight of smallclothes; AND he has spent more attention on tween pranks over the summer than the real business of the Master, he might decide to make a real impression on these two persistent offenders. It might even be enough to deter Pippin from involving goats. Might. Perhaps. Author Reply: It might, but then again, it would be lovely if the Master decided to help out with the goat idea, wouldn't it? LOL Now that would be quite a surprise for Merry and Berilac, won't it? Yes, all in all, I would have to say that Saradoc got the worst of this one. Thanks for reading!

"Saradoc sighed deeply as if the weight of the Shire had come crashing down upon him. It seemed as if his entire job as the Master of Buckland this summer could be boiled down to being in charge of a group of rebellious tweens and one teenage Took. He had followed his lovely wife out into the garden with a blanket draped over his arm and a resigned expression on his face." He'd better get used to it! And I love how Pippin now feels like "one of the guys" to be included in such a prank. Such spirit! Author Reply: Saradoc did have his hands full, didn't he? As for Pippin, you know how hard he tries to keep up with Merry so this latest adventure, even if it was a bit nasty, did keep him in on the action. Thanks for reading and reviewing this one.

What a wonderful story!! I now have a mental image of Pippin in molasses and petals that will probably last for several days at least. I liked Merry wondering wht his mother knew about the behavior of trolls, and Pippin already planning the next battle of the war. Thanks so much. Author Reply: Thank you! It is always nice to hear that the descriptions in one of these stories have left an impression. Naturally, Pippin will be planning his revenge after that one and after raising Merry, Esmeralda might have thought trolls wouldn't be that difficult. LOL Thank you for reading and reviewing!

That was spectacular! You had me laughing! you presented such a wonderful picture of what happened I was rolling! I know there were some things that I wanted to mention specifically but they became too numerous and unfortunately I lost track of them! Esmeralda in a state like that must have been something. At least Saradoc had sense enough not to try and reason with her at that point. That she got Merry and Berilac making them clean up because she knew it was then. Also I did like Merry wanting to ask her how she knew what troll behavior was like, but having the sense to realize it wouldn't be a good ideas at that time. Also all those lasses! Poor Posey was a bit shocked wasn't she? She must not have brothers, huh? At least Pip's sisters were willing to abandon their teasing in favor of trying to help Pippin get rid of the bees! That was too much fun. Maybe you should write some more about the prank war that took place that summer? I'm curious how many goats can fit into Merry's room as well ;) Author Reply: Hey, so glad that you got a laugh or two out of this. I am also curious about the goats by the way. I just might have to write a bit more on this subject at some point in time. There may be more prank stories in the future. I never know what I might decide to write until I've written it! Thanks for the review!
