Aaawww, that was so sweet! You made it funny to, with the whole Pippin thing. Romantic, bittersweet, funny...excellent little story. Do you have a story about the Pippin and Diamond? Author Reply: Thank you! I do really do too much romance, but if you want a bit of Diamond and Pippin then chapter 17, "The Wedding Table" is a Diamond and Pippin story. Thank you for the review!

How did I miss this? Estella is a very brave lass! And I love the reason she mistook the rooms! I wonder if it will make Pippin be tidier for a while - just in case some other lass comes along looking for Merry. “The Merry that holds me now, needs to know where it will lead.” Very perceptive of Estella. Merry and Pippin have both rather lost their taste for casual irresponsibility and grown up. Even if they try to hide it. Very sweet. Very saucy. And Estella dealt quite well with the knowledge that Pippin had been driven to hide under his bed and miss supper after a sight of her - assets. Author Reply: This was one of my rare attempts at a bit of romance and it wound up with a bit of a comic element in spite of all efforts to keep it serious. Pippin just wouldn't behave! LOL I think that Estella just might have been the one to make the first move with Merry. Merry probably had too much worry and too many serious matters on his mind after the quest. Thanks for reading!

This was just terrific! My favorite? *He tossed the waistcoat at the same chair and missed. It fell to the floor next to one from yesterday and Pippin ignored them both* That is SOOOO Pippin! Wonderful glimpse into the next step of Merry and Estella's relationship. And poor Pippin! Being ordered out of his own room and thinking his cousins were going to have sex. On HIS bed! LOL! Thanks for the giggles. :-) Author Reply: Glad that you enjoyed it. It's one of my few semi-romantic stories. I don't seem to write romance that often for some reason. Thanks for reading and I am glad that it made you giggle.

I adored the beginning of this, with Pippin so awkward and trying to explain himself, and his warning to Merry! Too, too funny. And then the end was very sweet. Another great story, GW! :) Author Reply: Thank you! I almost didn't move this one over here because I thought it might not work with the others, but it is a Merry and Pippin so I gave it a shot. Glad that you enjoyed it!

Well, I think this story fits perfectly in here. Your description of Pippin was wonderful, he's still a tweenager and feels a little awkward when confronted with a lass in his bed - and not some lass, but Merry's ;-) And Merry and Estella make the perfect couple. Estella is so sympathetic when it comes to Merry's feelings. "I think that the Merry who used to hold me is holding me now, only now, I think he knows how easily things can be lost and what is really important in our lives." Wonderful, thank you! Author Reply: Thank you for those very kind words. I am pleased to know that putting this one in with the others was not a mistake. I haven't written much in the way of romance so I wasn't sure how this would go over. I'm glad you enjoyed it and thank you for the review!

Very charming! The font was so large I had to scroll back and forth, but it was well worth the read. Poor Pippin--finding a lass in his bed, and then realizing not only is it his bed, but the wrong one! Took a great deal of nerve indeed! Author Reply: Thanks for going to all of that trouble to read this. Funny thing is, it fits perfectly on my screen. I went in to edit it, and when I read it in both author and reader modes it fits. I am sorry that it was so large on your screen. My talent for formatting leaves a great deal to be desired. LOL Thank you for reading and I am very pleased that you enjoyed it. Oh, and any tips on posting these so they don't look odd would be appreciated.
