| This is depressing. This chapter was finished 7 monthes ago and I haven't gotten a chance to read it until now, since school's out. I've missed your stories a lot, and I haven't forgotten them. There were a couple of allusions you made to other chapters, and I could remember the exact predicament Pippin had been in. This chapter was a hilarious idea. Only Pip could get caught in a situation like this. I like how you begin without the reader having any idea what's going on and then keep them laughing as things go from bad to worse for poor Pip. You capture the mind of that Took really well. Everything he thought was something I could really see Pip thinking. My favorite line was definitely "He had very nearly become the Shire’s first naked arsonist!" Again, Only Pip. Author Reply: Sometimes RL keeps us busy. I completely understand. Read any of these when you have time. It is so sweet of you to review and you always say such nice things. That line about the naked arsonist was one of my favorites when I was writing this. | I was led here by slightly tookish because of Marigold's latest challenge. I must say, that was a perfect start into the new day. Poor Pippin! This certainly wasn't his lucky day.... or should I say night? I wonder if he told the cousins about Tulip though. Thank you very much for this! :) Author Reply: Thank you for reading it and for reviewing it! This is the naked hobbit story that caused me to tell Marigold that 'everyone should have a naked hobbit story!' I never dreamed that she would take me seriously. LOL I was trying to encourage her to continue writing a naked hobbit story that she was working on and the result is apparently her latest challenge. I can't wait to see what people write for it! | I have giggled constantly all the way through. Am a bit surprised we didn't hear Pippin explain the conversation he overheard in the barn. And it appears Mrs. Goodbody has a bit of watching she needs to keep of Tulip. This was priceless--Pippin in the holly bushes naked was just too much to enjoy! Hehehehehehehe! Author Reply: Glad you laughed at this one. I have no idea where this idea came from but once it was there, I just had to write it. Funny, the elements listed to include for the challenge didn't seem like the sort that would make me write a naked Pippin story and yet, here it is! I nearly let Pippin spill the beans on Tulip, but decided he'd be far too embarrassed to go into it at that point. Thanks for reading! | |

| Poor Pippin. It's just one thing after another! None disastrous in itself, but piling up until . . . Even the mosquitoes have joined in the Pippin persecution. He'll never live this down. Anything that reminds his friends - and there will be a little grin . . . They won't need to day anything. Not a single word. Just look. | What a fantastic imagination you have GW. I think that I am going to found 'naked sleepers united' and ask Pippin to join. Your story is a warning to us all. But then I am single and live in a bed-sit with shared facilities. And if I were to admit to a few late-night privvy visits myself I might be blusshing as bright as a holly berry myself! Author Reply: "Naked Sleepers United" sounds like a great group and I am sure once Pippin recovers from his holly-bush experience he'd be happy to join! I think everyone has a story where they get caught in less than full dress. I am not about to tell mine, but I enjoyed writing one for Pippin! LOL Thanks for reviewing! | |
