Sorry to have missed reviewing for so long. I've been pummeled by RL. It was good to read that Legolas has gotten some aid and some explanation about Ramhar and Malcovan as well as his own part in the story. But he is still in poor shape. I find myself doubting that the medicine he was given will make a great difference. The situation is still desperate. It was also good to see Aragorn and Tithlam again! Your description of Aragorn's return to consciousness was very good-- the confusion and pain. And at least he now knows that Legolas is alive for now. Progress! ~TF

Wow! I was hooked as soon as I read the fist chapter, O.K. maybe I over did it on my computer time,;) but it was such a great story! A Jewl. Is this your only story here? Can not wait for the next chapter! Namarie, Arwen Author Reply: I'm sure you did overdo your computer time! This story is... rather lengthy. I'm glad you like it. I do have one other story called "The Healer", on Cassia's website The Mellon Chronicles. It was my first story, and it's pretty much elf-torture. Enter at your own risk.

hey.....you´re back!....and so am I! Sorry I did not mail for such a long time but I `m thinking of you and your family quite often! I did not make it to the computer for a while...always dying on the couch before I can make it to the keyboard....looking like a fat canonball! You made my day today with this chapter....finally Aragorn is awake....can't wait to see him sneaking into the city. But with that bad cough...and all the injuries....well I 'll bet you will have fun to torment him a little longer. take care..and i promise I will email soon! Muinthel Author Reply: Hello! I'm delighted to hear from you! So it must be nearly time for the new baby to arrive? You must be very busy these days with your family. I hope it's a girl this time (smile), but of course as long as you have a healthy child it all will be lovely. I look forward to hearing from you when you have time.

*pant,pant*....Boy am I glad to be back on line. My computer has been out of commission for almost a month. I've been moving...yuck! Well...this was a wonderful suprise to see...an update. Another great chapter!! Thank goodness for Brina.....(I've been trying to comfort Legolas by long-distance...just doesn't work). I love her moxie...she seems like she will be able to stand up to just about anything. I do believe that Legolas' kind deed, so many years ago, did lead back to another kind deed. Good Karma begats good Karma. Legolas is full of GOOD KARMA. When Aragorn ask for his sword..I knew he wouldn't be able to stay put for long. Hope Alun can get word to Legolas that Aragorn is okay...I think it would go a long way to helping him regain his health. Also glad that the cat is back in fine shape. As usual...I can't wait for the next chapter.....hope it comes soon. Peace.... Bev Author Reply: Have you caught your breath? How awful to be computerless. Whatever did we do in ancient times when there were none? I like the good deed begets another cycle. It helps things to run better in the world. See you next time!

All I can say is that I just can't wait until Legolas and Aragorn are reunited! It will be a great scene, I know. Thank you for plugging away at this wonderful story, despite all the issues that real life has thrown to you. Your loyal readers truly appreciate your refusal to leave us hanging. I hope your daughter continues to improve. Author Reply: Hello Socket! Happy to see you. Gack, I hope it'll be a great scene. I'm concerned about too much blubbering. I've got steer clear of that and yet have it be heartfelt and real. No flippant "you're late" scenes please. My child is doing very well. She currently is a monkey however - we've been reading about Jane Goodall - but that is said to be normal behavior in a nine year old.

Nightwing, you are one amazing writer! I don't expect you've heard from me as i've just discovered you. I've only been on this site for a few months and i haven't read every story on the site yet, but what can you expect from a mere 11-year old? I'm sorry about you're daughter, fate can be so cruel, can't it? Please respond if possible. My email is,mellon_64@hotmail.com.Keep the updates coming! Thanks! Author Reply: Hello Silvertree! There is nothing "mere" about being 11 years old, and I an honoured that you are reading my story. I'll make a confession: I have a desire to write professionally for people in your age group, so I'm rather excited that I've pulled you in! It gives me hope that I might actually make my dream come true some day. I thank you!

I keep missing these updates! Though thankfully I'm not that far behind this time. It had spider venom in it? Well isn't that a surprise! I certainly wasn't expecting that. And Legolas coming upon Gildwas in the forest, that is the twisty-twist. I am glad we get to catch up with Aragorn again, and that Alun was with him. I personally think that Aragorn should stay in the cave or wherever they are and get better instead of going off that night when he woke up a few hours ago. But then again Aragorn wouldn't like it, and probably you too. Can't wait for more. Author Reply: I think Aragorn would have a really difficult time staying behind, even if he probably should. He can't leave his friend in danger, and he really is the one who should try to free Legolas. Alun has his own concerns with the situation in the city, where things will be getting a bit wild. I'm happy you are still reading, and thanks for reviewing!

Oh gosh, another great chapter in a great story. Would have reviewed sooner but for some reason I couldn't connect to the site. That's torture- google says there is an update but I can't read it. Thanks for making it worth the wait Author Reply: I'm glad you got to the chapter. I'd be having a fit if I couldn't get to my favorite updates!

Yesss!! ***does a happy dance!**** An update!!! And finally....Aragorn's back in view, and he's "sorta" alright!!! Legolas will be so thrilled when he finds out Aragorn still lives..I hope he will believe it, since he cannot see..... The "Ramhar and Malcovan secret" is a bit more clear, but there's still a lot of info missing. I'm sure we'll get to that later....now first please go safe the elf!!! This is awesome, brilliant, and thrilling!!! Please more soon if and when RL allows!!! Thanks so much for sharing, hugs and kisses!!! Author Reply: Aragorn is functioning again. My main concern is that he not make his way into the city and immediately start coughing his head off. That won't do for someone trying to sneak.
