| Wow - that's about all I can say - your level of tension in ALL your chapters is incredible. I keep waiting for someone to save the day, especially with Eomer and his terrible times, but no one comes... and so I am lulled into thinking the calvary never arrives AND IT DOES.... fooled me! But it was worth every moment of it. Excellent chapters leading up to this battle... excellent. Author Reply: Thank you very much, I had hoped it would work like that (although while in the middle of writing a battle scene, I sort of lose orientation quite easily). Yes, poor Éomer certainly is going through some very bad days, but at least, he is no longer alone... Glad I succeeded in fooling you... ;-> Best, Katzilla | |

| Wacko! The calvary arrived - just like in all the best stories.LBJ Author Reply: Yes, they are handy, these guys. Let's face it, they needed to appear, because it would have been unrealistic for our brave, but few warriors to best over 40 Uruks all by themselves... and I think there would be a hitman on my tracks now had I followed down a "realistic" ending to this scenario (plus the story would basically be over. Bummer!). | |
