Well DANG, Fiondil! Not only have I MISSED this story (and the one about Erestor, Valar forbid!) but WOW! You can write a pretty HOT scene there! *fans face* I haven't seen much Elrond/Celebrian written in such a manner and I LOVE it! Okay, on to matters other than sex. *grin* I love this concept, and am thoroughly enjoying the story so far. Your take on Elladan and Elrohir is just charming, and of course, there is GLORFINDEL! Who I absolutely adore. I really enjoyed seeing Erestor in a wonderful counterbalance to Glory and not written as a stuck up snob. This is truly the Chief Councilor of Elrond. I often find Elrond written in a manner that makes me dislike him, but you have won me over with your portrayal of him, and I LOVE seeing a fic with Celebrian still alive. Anything from you is refreshing and I'm still kicking myself for missing this before. I'm glad I saw it on the MEFA site and I will be reviewing it there as well. NiRi Author Reply: Well, however you've found this story, early or late, I'm glad you have. The Erestor story should be read AFTER you've read this one as that that is properly an epilogue to this story. As for the Elrond/Celebrķan scene... just goes to show that you don't actually have to be explicit to get your point across, doesn't it? *grin* I'm glad you like my portrayal of Elrond, Glorfindel and Eretor. And naturally Celebrķan would have to be alive as she never dies. I think you mean "with Celebrķan still in Imladris". *grin* Anyway, I'm glad you are enjoying the story and I look forward to reading your MEFA review as well. Thanks.

It must be very handy to be able to send the Secret Service out to pursue your sons through their first brave, on-their-own adventure. A great comfort to the folks at home! Only, typically of Elrond's heedless offspring, they seem to have put themselves in the way of rather more danger than anyone expected. Looking forward to more! Author Reply: Thanks Bodkin. Glad you're enjoying the story. Yes, the Twins are very adapt at putting themselves in the way of more danger than they need to be, and obviously an avalanche won't be the worse of it. Stay tuned.

this is the first thing I have read by you, & I got to say, wow... besides, I'm a sucker for any story that contains the twins & Erestor....^__^ Author Reply: Well, thank you. I hope I continue to live up to your expectations. I hope you like this enough to want to read my other stories as well.

Well, that has potential. It'll be interesting to see what sort of trouble the twins get up to - and would be somewhat funny if they ended up rescuing their 'protectors.' Author Reply: Funny indeed! You'll just have to wait and find out. I think there will be a surprise or two for most readers.

Sounds like the twins are off on a great So do you have Celeborn and Galadriel visiting Lothlorien for an extended period of time? It is always interesting to imagine where they might be early in the Third Age and what they might be up to. Author Reply: "Disaster" is probably closer to the truth! As for Celeborn and Galadriel... you'll just have to wait and see, won't you? *grin*

Interesting beginning. 'Tis only the first chapter, and there's already an avalanche. Awaiting the next chapter...:-P Author Reply: Well, I had to have something interesting happen to the Twins right off, didn't I? LOL. Glad you liked the beginning. Stay tuned, it only gets better (or worse, as the case may be).

Welcome back Fiondil, Since I loved your other story, I'm estatic to see this one and what a great beginning. So now it is the terrible twins turn. As a mom of twin 13 yr old boys I shudder to think of what trouble El & El can get into. Can elves hair turn white? I really enjoy the way you write the couples in your stories especially Eluwan & Thandir, nice to see a little passion in our elves. And as always love the chapter titles (Valar, I'm getting old) though now I'm going to have that little ditty going around in my head all day with a West Virginia accent! LOL Update soon Eliza Author Reply: Glad to be back Eliza (though I never really left). *grin* And I'm glad you like the way this story begins. I think elves are more passionate than we give them credit for and I wanted to show that in certain ways. I had a lot of fun with Eluwen and Thandir. I think they're very interesting characters in their own right. Don't worry, I'll be updating fairly regularly. This story is only about half as long as the last so you won't have too long of a wait.
