Definitely a danger that must be faced and dealt with as soon as possible. And having tried sleeping with my late husband on a single cot, I certainly understand her reluctance to be on the bottom. Heh! Author Reply: Hi Larner, What a pile of reviews when I switched on my laptop -- thank you so much. You seem to have really picked up on what I wanted to get over in this story. Sometimes it is better read in chunks. Eomer is getting much more fun as the story progresses -- having a lovely wife must help. But Lothiriel has a few battles of her own to fight yet, and Aerin does not find everthing as easy as she thought. I hope you continue to enjoy. LBJ

I am glad that Lothiriel and Eomer got to have a little vacation away from court and its needs - it really showed how their relationship is growing. How it ended also shows the pressures they are under and the duties that pull them in different directions - I am worried for Eomer going off to fight wargs in his lighter mail - though he seems pretty competant and equal to even difficult tasks like that ;) Author Reply: Clever you - picking up on the lighter mail. I have already written a chapter where Lothiriel is worried about it. But whether it will have any consequences, I dont know - he hqasn't faced them yet!LBJ

Eomer and Lothiriel seem to be settling into a rather more than comfortable relationship! And there can't be many in Edoras, at least, who don't know that their king is ... more than satisfied with his bride! I enjoyed the progress to the Fords - especially since they decided to make it the other kind of Rohirric camping trip. I'm sure Lothiriel preferred that kind! But wargs! I suspect there could be some trouble ahead - and I'm very glad that Lothiriel is wearing mail. And that there is an extra squad of guards to protect the ladies. Especially since I suspect none of them is handy with anything more ferocious than a gutting knife. (Although that's good enough at a pinch.) Looking forward to finding out what happens next! Author Reply: Don't worry - with all those warriors around I dont think any wargs will get near Lothiriel - she has different battles to fight.
