"My dear Frodo, computers can be just as surprising as hobbits. You never know what they are going to do next sometimes." LOL!!! That's so true! And using "conflustergation" in this story was great! No wonder, no one else understood that ;-) P.S.: I know a lot about Windows computers, but what is Blackberry? Of course, if you ask a hobbit, blackberry and blueberry is just the same - they all taste wonderful! Author Reply: A Blackberry is a real fancy cell phone - doesn't just ring but you can send e-mail from it and all sorts of things. Thanks for your review! So glad you enjoyed! This is uproariously funny, my dear Antane!!! (and too cute to boot) Aragorn's Blueberry/Blackberry ... Just the image of Frodo with a laptop ... Gandalf the Computer Help Wizard (I used to have some program name Wizard Help or Zip Wizard or something or other) Conflustergation makes a return!!! (I sooo love that word!) The Halls house the spirits of the dead, my dear boy, not dead messages ROTFL!! Sam emailing Frodo news pics of the family and Frodo using them as his screensaver and wallpaper .... Well done! ~Elemmírë~ p.s. Does Frodo use Windows ME for Middle-earth? I also wonder what kind of spam he receives in the West, or is the Blessed Realm blessedly free of the junk? Author Reply: No, I think maybe he uses that new Vista or whatever - imagine the vistas you would have in the West. And of course there's no spam. I have a similar screensaver and wallpaper myself, Frodo and Sam mostly with a sprinkling of Merry and Pippin. I just love the idea of them communicating this way! So glad you enjoyed! It's wonderful that Frodo can communicate with those he loves in Middle Earth. I can certainly share his frustration with his computer, though. Gandalf was correct when he said they can be as surprising as hobbits. I'm glad the problem was corrected and Frodo could see the newest Gamgee. Author Reply: It would have been wonderful indeed if such could have happened. Thanks for reviewing. The Internet was down at work today and I felt just like Frodo - so cut off! Ah, yes--how well we all identify! But to at last see the newest of Sam's children must be wonderful. And, Aragorn has a Blackberry rather than a more standard operating system? Hehehehehe! Author Reply: Well, of course, nothing but the best for the future King and don't you think a Ranger would need something more than just your normal cell phone? :) Wouldn't it have been wonderful to have them be able to communicate this way. Oh Antane!! Hantanyel! For the story and for the Quenya. ;) Oh my goodness! That was simply hysterical! Don't we all know Frodo's frustration? But he's lucky he gets to have a laptop. I've got ten good reasons why I need one, and still my parents don't get it. I would cherish it, glitches and all. :) Hantanyel again for such a beautiful story! Namarie, meldanya. God Bless, Frodo Baggins Author Reply: So glad you enjoyed, dearest Frodo! So nice to get a review from you! I didn't get a laptop for a long time because I thought why pay all the same money you would for a desktop, the battery only last a couple hours but I just love it and hardly ever use my desktop anymore. I know Frodo doesn't really have email, but I hope to hear from him soon anyway! :) Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Not even wizards can fix all the computer glitches in the world. Maybe you’ll get in later." LOL!! *grins* Author Reply: I was hoping my silliness would attract you - hantanyel! Cuuuuuuuuttttteeeeee!!! Just hope the voice chat thingy doesn't go kerflooey! hehehe! A great change of pace, you do humor very well LOLOL ~~~{~@ Author Reply: I usually avoid reading humor - it can be so objective and I'm extremely easy to offend - and I've certainly never wrote it, but this just came to me Sunday evening and I just had to try my hand at it. So glad it's been so warmly received, maybe I'll try it again sometime. Hantanyel for your support! Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

I know, I know, but I just had to come back and tell you everything I love about this! He stared blackly at the screen of his laptop that said ‘Page not available’ and muttered various dark imprecations under his breath. Or so it seemed, no one understood what he was saying. Hmm, why is this familiar? How many times have I done this? :) "Well, it’s not up now. I can’t get into my e-mail and last night I couldn’t open an attachment Merry had sent of his and Estella’s wedding. I feel so cut off!" Now who is spoiled? *grins* No, no more spoiled than you and I and most people living in America in the twenty-first century. It does seem so odd to think of e-mail in M-E, though! :) "You don’t think the message went to the Halls of Mandos and we could get it back?" The Maia smiled and hated to disappoint the desperate hope in the hobbit’s eyes. "No, I’m afraid not. The Halls house the spirits of the dead, my dear boy, not dead messages." Dead messages...*giggles* Where do they go, then? :) "My dear Frodo, computers can be just as surprising as hobbits. You never know what they are going to do next sometimes. I told you before there were some things stronger than me. Not even wizards can fix all the computer glitches in the world. Maybe you’ll get in later." Calm, reasonable, grandfatherly Gandalf...doesn't he know we have to have the computer *now*?! LOL! Now I'm picturing Gandalf battling a giant fire-breathing computer. "You don’t think it got a bug in it like those midges that corrupted the message you tried to send to Aragorn’s blueberry, do you?" "Blackberry," Gandalf corrected. Frodo waved a hand. "Whatever." LOL! Oh, this is rich! LOL! Blueberry! But you have a point. What logic is there to a name like 'blackberry' anyway? It's all food, right? *grins* "Oh, meldanya Sam," he breathed. He touched the screen as though to stroke the cheek of the lass. Awww! :) God bless, Galadriel :) Author Reply: So glad you enjoyed, ammelda! I was wondering if anyone would say I needed a laugh - I was laughing myself when I thought of Frodo saying Aragorn's blueberry but tried to keep it to myself - people wonder at people who laugh for no apparent reason you know. :) Namarie, God bless, Melinyel, Antane :)

*ROTFL!* I...I can hardly type..for laughing! Oh, my, goodness! Antane, I would not have thought! LOL! Frodo having computer problems! LOL! Oh, I definitely want to hear about this one; there must be *something* behind it. *wipes eyes* That was great! I was just thinking tonight I needed a really good laugh, and thank you, my dear, you gave it to me...now it's hard to stop! *sighs contentedly* God bless, Galadriel :)
