Somehow I missed finishing the series. This one is so delightful. Aunt Invriniel in this one is so like my grandmother who thought of us as her great Barbie dolls to dress and pose, only we were already far too self-directed. And she is definitely the proper princess for this lion! Author Reply: LOL, poor you! I had a godmother like that, who always gave me perfume for my birthday, probably because she didn't think me feminine enough... Thanks for reviewing and I'm pleased to hear you enjoyed this story!

I was browsing through my reviews and saw that I forgot to post something for this one. Eomer and Lothy's first meeting scene is so dynamic and very, very funny! Loved every single word and I just thought I'd let you know. Thanks for sharing. Author Reply: Hello Whitewave, it was quite a challenge to come up with as much damage that she could do to him as possible - like you noted, it makes for a dynamic meeting scene. lol! I was thinking I might add some more scenarios to this collection one day. I don't lack for ideas, more for the time to write them down. Thanks for reviewing! Lia

This is my favorite of your one-shots. Belecthor is always good for a laugh, but here he has outdone himself I loved the tension you created between Eomer and Lothiriel. For a while I was really worried for her, but luckily Eomer got himself under control before he did irreparable harm. But I can understand him, too. Comes there this raggedly looking boy, sets his camp ablaze and absconds with his favorite horse. No wonder he was livid. I hope RL gives you a breather now and then so that you can give us some more stories. Author Reply: I might have to make a little compilation of Belecthor's sayings one day - he's so inspiring! One of those calendars you hang up in the kitchen with a quote for every month ;-) And it's good to hear I got you worried for Lothiriel - that was the intention. I hope he would have come to his senses eventually anyway (or else got hit over the head by Eothain), but she really did add insult to injury! Unfortunately RL still hasn't eased up, I've had one cold after the other the last month. The only thing I wrote was a short oneshot for Christmas featuring Eomer and Lothiriel from 'Yours to Command'. But I'm hoping for the new year. Thanks for reviewing! Lia

Another delightful tale. With each new one, I declare it to be the best so far :) I do hope that RL and muses decide to permit more on this theme. Lothiriel's desperation came through so very clearly. Thank you! Author Reply: Thank you for the praise and your good wishes! I did want to show how having your betrothal to a stranger arranged is not a very nice thing, even though it was a misunderstanding and turns out all right in the end. But of course I could not do it in any serious way ;-) Lia

Hi Lia! These are stunningly original and absolutey delightful! I have enjoyed reading each vignette even more than the last, and must confess that I felt a bit disappointed when I realized this one was the last... LOL! I hope you do add to them as your muse and your schedule allow. Very well done! - Barbara, with a big smile on her face P.S. I'm sooooo glad she burned Belecthor's book! Author Reply: Hello Barbara, Thank you for your praise! I had a lot of fun writing these and would like to add more...unfortunately real life keeps interfering. There is another story in the works at the moment, but it looks like turning into a multi-chapter one. I will have to see how that develops, but I hope to add to these vignettes again some day. Lia P.S: And I'm against burning books, but in this case maybe there are extenuating circumstances...

Lia, I just loved this! It may be the best by far! The quotations are hilarious. Your description of when Lothiriel was running away from the baker and all the way to her running from Eomer because she stole Firefoot was very suspenseful and descriptive. The part of including Morwen is something I've never read in any fanfic for Lothiriel and Eomer until now. I always thought she was dead by now, but with the age note at the end it's quite probable that she could be alive at the end of the War of the Ring. Thanks so much for this and I do hope that you still have to time to relax between now and next year! Alquawende Author Reply: Hello Alquawende, Making up the quotations was actually a lot of the fun, plus thinking what other unladylike things Lothiriel could do to poor Eomer. As for Morwen, I always thought as well that she'd be dead, but I was looking for some information in the appendix the other day, found her date of birth and thought I could get away with her still being alive. It makes a nice connection between them (and a reason for Eomer to visit his grandmother!). And thank you for your good wishes. I hope to have more spare time again in the new year - there is no lack of plot bunnies, just of time! Lia

Lovely, lovely lovely! The moment I read the name of Morwen of Lossarnach, I started grinning, and then this delightful little tale unfolded in all its glory and gave me everything from happy, little shrieks to loud laughter. Absolutely marvelous - my favorite among this marvelous series of tales. BRAVO! Cúthalion Author Reply: I thought you might enjoy a little more Belecthor, I'm getting rather fond of him myself! I was rereading the appendix to RotK, researching the House of Eorl, and realized Morwen would not have been impossibly old at the time of the Ring War, so this seemed to be a good opportunity to bring her into a story. As a counterpoint to poor Aunt Ivriniel so to speak. Good to hear I made you laugh! Lia
