Sorry to be Debbie Downer here but....I voted for the only man who would have made a real difference in the way Americans vieewd the next four years, Gary Johnson. He is the former governor of my state, ran as a libertarian, and wanted to legalize marijuana. At least we would have all had an altered view of the pain of change. Pass that doobie my way bro. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!! I loved that song when I was little! hahaha this short story is epic! (contradiction I know ;)) but seriously I just about fell from my chair. Laughing quietly is very difficult by the way! ~Lin P.S. thanks for suggesting the read! Author Reply: You're most welcome, Lin. What can I say? It's a great word and I remember when the movie came out, most adults couldn't say it but every 4-year could rattle it off without any trouble. Seemed like the perfect password for Thranduil to use. *grin* Thanks for leaving a review. It's much appreciated.

I do feel for Thranduil (who's been my favourite ever Elf since forty-plus years). Every time I use my credit card, I'm afraid I might enter the opening code of the house door instead, they're so similar *g* Author Reply: Hello Soledad. Thranduil is one of those Elves who grows on you. I've written him in other stories and he features prominently in my novel "Tad Edhil a Firion". I didn't always like him but the more I've written him the more I see beyond the facade of irrascibility that he presents to the rest of the world. I've gotten to like him more and more over the years. I imagine we all can identify with Thranduil to one degree or another in this story with our password-crazed society. I used to work in a place that made us change our computer passwords every 45 days. I had to make up a list and check off the passwords just to remember which one I was supposed to be using this time around. So annoying. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed this story. Thanks for reading and reviewing.

Just what has Thranduil got against flush toilets, having used the alternative, many, many years ago when I was a wee tot, I'll take flushing over a trip to the Outhouse any day of the week?! Thranduil needs to get himself a computer that will remember his passwords for him or get Legolas to remember them for him! Hope Tulcas did not do too much damage, thank goodnees the girls are getting past that, now they are into bringing me 'presents', live ones that is! Lynda Author Reply: Oh he has nothing really against them, he's just griping. It's more a joke than anything. I remember reading about the reactions of people in the 19th century when flush toilets became available and some people eyed the new-fangled invention with some suspicion. *grin* I think you're right that Thranduil should give Legolas the password to remember. I recall when 'Mary Poppins' came out you had four-year-olds singing that particular song without a problem while adults couldn't seem to get past 'supercali...' *lol* Ah... live 'presents'... been there, done that! *lol*

Reading parts of this makes you wonder just who rules in Mirkwood, Thranduil or Mrs. Thranduil! This is just as funny the fifth, or sixth time around as the first! Keep them coming, Lynda Author Reply: I'm glad you are enjoying this the fifth or sixth time around. Thanks for letting me know.

This reminded me sooooo much of the different websites I've joined and always having to kick myself 'cause I can't remember the password for this one and that one and that one and this one! Please tell Thranduil I share his frustration! Absolutely hysterical, mellon nin. You have outdone yourself! Author Reply: Thanks, Agape. I dedicated this story to all of us who've ever forgotten a stupid password, so I suspect just about everyone who's read this can relate to Thranduil's frustration.

Even I can't remmember that password! Do you think Radagast was serious in the password?"giggle" Author Reply: With Radagast you never know. I suspect he had an even more wicked sense of humor than Gandalf did, and that's saying a lot. LOL
