Having reread this and the reviews, thought I would satisfy all those inquiring minds, most, not all Scots, go 'commando' under their kilts. The only ones to routinely wear something are the dancers, considering how the kilt flairs and flys when dancing, not a bad idea. I understand those guys who are married get their wives to knit them for them, I suppose the unmarried guys get their mum's to make theirs! Got the info from the mother of a lady who was married to a piper and if his wife dosen't know who would!? Namo in kilt still gets me inspired, to do what I am not sure, but the image is still inspiring:)! Hope you have finally come to roost for a bit, I have missed your regular updates! More please, Lynda Author Reply: Knitted underwear... now there's a thought. Saw some kilts yesterday at a Celtic store.... There was one that I could see Nįmo in. I think he would've looked quite nice in it. Even Vairė would agree. *grin* I've come to roost for a while so updates will be a regular as possible. The Muse and I are still recovering from the trip so just be patient.

Yes, imagine the Doomsman wearing a rainbow robe and walks around looking like a hippy. Now look what you have done, I now have the image pf Eomer walking around in kilts imprinted in my mind!!!!( Although I think Eomer has hot legs....then wearing kilts is a good idea after all);D Author Reply: hi Sprite. *hee* Namo as a hippy... now there's a scary thought. Glad you enjoyed this. Thanks for letting me know.

ROTFL! I'm glad I didn't read this when there was anyone else in the office. My ribs hurt from laughing so hard! What a set of mental images this produced. Eru bless, Edlyn Author Reply: Glad you enjoyed this, Edlyn. Thanks for letting me know.

Heh - Namo getting introduced to a new fashion, and in the process getting twitted on his favorite color. Again. I can just imagine his reaction to being teased about Goth-fashion: a small sniff, and one word: "Copycats". Excuse me, I am just going to dive into my stashes of fabrics and patterns. I can feel a bout of inspiration coming up. Author Reply: I can just see him sneering at Goth. *grin* Glad you liked this.

I think men in kilts can be rather dashing if the man is suitably proportioned for such a fashion endeavor. I think a vala would be fine in one - providing he doesn't have knobbly knees or a pot-belly. and balck Watch is a nice tartan - one of the more appealing ones. Namo was such a wimp... teehee loved the comment about Varda with stars in her hair... Author Reply: You really have to be Liam Neeson to pull it off, I think, otherwise, don't bother. I now I never could! And I doubt that any Vala would have knobbly knees or a pot belly unless they were in disguise. *lol*

"Well, I admit its a bit garish..." -- Ah: Dress MacLeod! Or perhaps it was Buchanan? "If you squint... theyre distantly related to the Rohirrim and the Men of Dale" -- Having been nearsighted for some 49 years now, I'm well aware of the usefulness of squinting. And I quite agree that squinting Valar could probably see *all* *sorts* of things. Author Reply: Buchannan old dress or Dress MacLeod would work. There are any number of very garish looking tartans to choose from. *grin*

Oh, I have to say it again. I just LOVE this! Hilarious! Though I still think Nįmo would be quite dashing in a black kilt. Though I think it would be more up Tulkas alley. I could see he and Oromė doing a caper toss. *grin* Great story. Author Reply: Yeah, I could see Tulkas and Oromė in kilts doing a caber toss, though I wouldn't mind seeing Nįmo and Oromė doing a sword dance myself. *grin* Glad you liked this. Thanks for letting me know... twice.

Oh I can just see Namo in a kilt, full Highland rig of cf course, sporran, lots of frothy lace at his neck and wrists and a dirk in his stocking a Claymore at his side and his hair Elf braided and flying in the breeze! Yum! He'd also look good in jeans and a tee shirt! Actually there is a shop in Seattle that sells 'everyday kilts' and does quite a good buisness! Considering what passes for fashion these days a kilt is not so bad, got to have good legs though! More please, Lynda Author Reply: I can see him like that too... I think he would look stunning as long as the tartan was black. *grin* Glad you liked this. Thanks for letting me know.

*snicker* Oh, meldonya! Too funny!! Heh, I wouldn't mind a picture of Namo in a kilt! Is this going on one of Vaire's Tapestries? Manwe and Namo in kilts... ~Kaylee!! Author Reply: You never know... Vairė does have as wicked a sense of humor as her husband.
