Loved your Hobbit Drinking Game! Sent you an email with my story guesses. Didn't think you wanted that part posted here. This story, (All of the Chapters) has been a delight. I hope there will be more. Author Reply: Thank you GW! Hobbits and alcohol - you can't get much better than that. :D

This was so much fun! Gandalf certainly knows how to get the Hobbits minds off of their worries. I can just imagine the faces of the others as the Hobbits bickered among themselves. The quest would be dangerour, but with those four, I bet it was never dull. Author Reply: If anyone would, it would be Gandalf. He knew what to expect going in, which I'm sure was part of the fun for him. He would be sitting back and watching the others' dumbfounded reactions to the hobbits with great joy and mischief. No, definitely never dull. ;)

Well, *that* went downhill fast! ;o) Loved it... can't wait for the rest. Author Reply: Yep, this game was not meant for the lightweights. Really, it should only be played by professionals. :P Thanks for reading!

I am glad that RL isn't dampening your creative spirit GF. This is so much fun. Sorry I am that I don't have time to take up your identity challenge. Author Reply: Ah, but that's why I made sure all these final chapters were written *before* I started updating again. I didn't want another year-long delay. ;) This was certainly enlightening for the Big Folk, and they'll have something to hold over the hobbits' heads later on. ;) Not that they would, of course...

“How can I plan for unexpected delays?” Merry asked. “All delays are unexpected and so you should expect them to be unexpected,” Pippin reasoned. ROTFL!!! And that was even before he was allowed to drink rum ;-) I enjoyed this drinking game a great deal, GamgeeFest! And I found some stories mentioned that I haven't read yet, which I'm going to change as soon as possible :) Author Reply: Well, Pippin does have a point, to a certain degree. No journey of this nature ever goes smoothly. It's Murphy's Law. But then, as they haven't heard of Murphy's Law back in those days, I think we can give Merry a break on this one. ;) Thank you for reading, Andrea. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

You can't beat hobbit drinking games, and the rest of the Fellowship joined in so enthusiastically. I'm glad it worked and distracted Frodo from thoughts of the journey. It was such fun to be allowed a peek at our wonderful hobbits. I loved the way Gandalf went round dispensing hangover cures - and without using any magic too. Author Reply: The rest of the Fellowship certainly did learn quite a bit more about their hobbit companions than they expected to. ;D Gandalf would know best how to distract all the hobbits from their worries and see they get a restful night's sleep before their departure. Gandalf no doubt got that hangover cure from the hobbits as well, possibly from the Old Took himself. :D

I need to reread some of those stories now, obviusly, as they are vague in my mind. A wonderful giggle! Author Reply: Thank you Larner. At least they won't be remembering any of this in the morning. :D

“Elrond!” Merry said in greeting. He raised a mug towards the elf-lord. “You know, I’ve been meaning to ask. Don’t you have any breeches?” “Gandalf,” Elrond warned. Every bit of this story has been a delight. :) Author Reply: Thank you, Shirebound! Drunk!hobbits are quite a handful, it seems. :P
