| You've hooked me again...after 'Banishment' I swore off works "in progress", but couldn't stay away! I love the character development - you present a very believable young Eomer! And his interaction with the Mearas - wonderful! A quick note, though, on Thunderbolts' treatment - swollen/inflamed flesh should never be sutured - it runs the risk of deeper infection if the wound were not completely cleaned out (as the outer flesh can heal before the inner, which prevents the wound from draining properly) Love it! And if it helps, I promise to finish this story, too (as long as I don't get run over by a car, that is). I'm happy to hear that you find my Éomer beliebable, because I'm a bit on a quest against "Raging Bull Éomer", who seems to be a common feature in many fanfics I've managed to find. To be honest - I had originally planned for his meeting with Thunderbolt to be quite different, but then it hit me that of course, his royal blood had to be the reason for his "special" horsemensship. | Very, very, very nice chapter. I loved Eomer and his own horse at the beginning and the fact that he was chosen to go with his captain on such a foray AND especially the 'taming' of the great stallion. Excellent.... In fact, I got shivers at the ending! Hooray - I like to think that a wee bit of Elf got into his blood too with Theodwyn being Morwen's daughter! | |
