| Plagiarism: the unauthorized use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's own original work. If you're going to lift half of a story from the books verbatim, you might consider giving credit to the original author. Gandalf's guidance and example; Sam's steadfast nature; Aragorn's discernment and nobility--they helped him keep the core of himself for as long as he did. Author Reply: It must have been such a terrible experience to feel that loss and not be able to stop it but still keep going, the main reason he is so inspirational.
