How sweet! I love wee!Pippin and Frodo is so gentle with him - and thankfully forgetting to lecture him about not climbing on the furniture. ;)

Author Reply: *grin* Well, Pippin's boo-boo made him forget all about scolding, LOL! (And I'm sure that Frodo would identify with a search for stories!)

Author Reply: Thank you, dear!

Awww!

That was a sweet little story! The most important part of "healing" little Pip was doubtlessly the kiss :)

And which hobbit lad would not be happy again if he could listen to a Tip and Tulip story, told by a master-storyteller?

Author Reply: Doubtlessly it was. Kisses make it all better!

I have a lot of fun with Tip and Tulip!

I so love Frodo the Storyteller! Ah, our dear Frodo in care-for-the-li'l-cousins mode! Heh!

Author Reply: LOL! Well, as you very well know, that is probably my favorite Frodo-mode!

Gah, little ones climbing bookshelves, horror of horrors! We have all ours bolted to the walls (the shelves, not the little ones...)

Well, Pippin got enough stories in the end, I reckon!

Author Reply: LOL! Fortunately for wee Pippin, I envision Bilbo's bookshelves as the built-into-the-wall sort! But apparently at least one of the shelves needs to be sanded, since Pippin picked up a splinter.

When I was about eight years old, my little sister tried to climb a chest-of-drawers, by using the drawers as steps. It started to topple, and fortunately I was able to catch the top of it. I could hold it up from hitting the floor but wasn't stong enough to lift it up--luckily my mother came running at our screams and was able to push it back in place.

I suppose that Pippin was insatiable when it came to stories!

Aww. Perfect comfort-fic for a sickday.

I love the descriptions, and I can clearly see and hear what's happening.

This made me smile.
Suddenly, he had the feeling that this one was always going to be looking for stories

Author Reply: Aw, I'm glad it gave you a bit of comfort--I hope you are feeling better today.

Sweet and loving - love the kiss to make it all better and the hug and the "I was looking for stories." A hobbit after my own heart! :) *hugs them both*

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Yes, I just love Frodo taking care of little Pippin! And "kiss it all better" I think must be common to many cultures!

Awww!

Haha, just looking. I can remember being told that at the equivalent of Pippin's age.

This is so sweet - now I want to hear the rest of the story myself! :D

Author Reply: There are lots of "Tip and Tulip" stories in my Shire. But so far, I've only told two of them in full, in "The Snow Hobbit" and in "Rainy Day at Whitwell". (The first is in "Shire Yule" and the second is in "Dreamflower's Mathoms II)

I'm glad you liked it!
