Eärnur's ability to draw Finrod out never ceases to amaze me. Up until now, it's almost felt that Eärnur is the elder and leader of the two and so far he seems to usually set the pace. But in this chapter, I like how Finrod seemed to even things a little. Now Eärnur is learning from him as well as he is learning from Eärnur. Lord Irmo was smart to send them off on that trip :) Speaking of Lord Irmo and Lady Estë, I liked the story of how Eärnur found the cove. Eärnur may not be the child of the Noldorán, but he still is cared for just as much. Thanks for a fun chapter, Fiondil! Author Reply: Hi Hawkeye. I think there at the cove, the two ellyn ceased to be healer and Reborn and were simply two friends camping out, so they were on an equal footing, so it makes sense that they would share and learn from each other. And Irmo's solution to how Eärnur is able to find the cove is priceless and very practical. Thanks for reviewing. I appreciate it very much.

Finrod's time with Eärnur worked out well; maybe not as he intended, but greatly toward his healing. Life is full of surprises and not all of them are bad, as he is finding out. Author Reply: Yes, I think Finrod's time with Eärnur worked out very well indeed and greatly toward his healing. And while life is full of surprises, and not all of them bad, I'm generally with Glorfindel about them myself: I'm not too fond of them. *grin*

Our dear Eärnur wouldn't be of much use as a ranger, I suppose, when he can't even find his favourite cave *grin* Oh well, at least the two ellyn appear to have had a great time at the sea. I think it was important for both of them to have this time together and away from others, to be able to talk about their experiences and all that. Author Reply: I must have had a mental block, unable to see your reviews, much like Glorfindel not being able to see Eärendil's Star. *grin* Not sure why. Oh well.... At any rate, this was definitely a time for bonding between the two ellyn and the time was well spent as we well know from "Elf, Interrupted".

A peaceful and necessary respite. I think I enjoyed it as much as these two. Author Reply: I'm glad you did, Larner. We all needed an angst-free chapter, I think. *LOL*

Something different for Finrod - it certainly improved his mood. I liked Irmo's comment about having to lend out his maiar for all the ages of Arda ;-) Seefood - yum. I wonder if the Teleri have invented sushi? ;-) Author Reply: Hi Sumny. I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter. Finrod really needed the holiday, didn't he? *grin* Thanks for reviewing. I really appreciate it.
