| What a great scene of h/c by Aragorn. Such loving, tender care he gave! This is great! He lastly kissed both his dear friends' hearts in honor of all the sacrifices that had been made. Indeed, they sacrificed so much! I think Sam gave everyone the greatest gift this birthday. "Frodo wouldn't have gone far without Sam." Lovely fic, Antane! I loved every word! Author Reply: Thank you so much! *hugs* I've been wanting to do this since the first Holy Thursday service I went to a few years ago when the priest is washing people's feet in imitation of what Jesus did and I was struck powerfully by the idea that Aragorn would have done the same with Frodo and Sam and then I added some more TLC on top of that. :) I am so glad you enjoyed!
