Well that was an easy rescue. It's a good thing Inglor is a friend of the dwarves or things could have gotten quite nasty. Poor Haleth failed to get the rescue she was hoping for, (Inglor still takes her for granted.) but at least she got a good meal.
Author Reply: Thank-you for reviewing, Tari. Haleth is probably surprised that Inglor noticed she was missing at all, given how focused he is on building his ship. I'm not sure she would really want him to rescue her, at least not in the classic way of riding in on the white horse. With her luck, the horse would step on her foot and he'd get distracted and forget to bring her with him so that she would end up rescuing herself. |
