*facepalm* Oh man Eonwe, please tell me you aren't actually that dense XD How Haleth restrains the urge to smack him I don't know (I suppose the confusion, illness and general ohvalaramigonnadie might help there). Going to be interesting to see where this goes! Author Reply: Eonwe is fun to write. Here's someone for whom a body is optional. Getting sick, tired, hungry or thirsty is unknown territory for him. He understands the principle...sort of...but he's never experienced any of it and he's incapable of getting it. It would be interesting to see the interaction between him and a healthy Haleth, maybe with Gandalf to mediate because Gandalf, at least, was bound to his body. Thank-you for reviewing.

Silmarien has been spared by the Valar. I can't help but wonder why. It was most brave of her to be willing to die to defend the Valar. Perhaps this will be to the good for her. I have hopes that she will not die. Author Reply: Thank-you for reviewing, Tari. Haleth is a little rash and she was worse when she was younger. I'm not sure if she was brave or just determined to chose the manner of her own death. She knew she was wasting away in Valinor and she really had no way of leaving. Still, she might have a little life in her yet. She's stubborn.

Whoa!!!! You mean, Haleth didn't witness the fall of Númenor from a fleeing ship... she witnessed Ar-Pharty's invasion??? From Aman??? And tried to fight back? *picks jaw off the floor and dusts it off before slapping it back on her face* (Erm, I'll grant you, given that it was Haleth, maybe the fighting back part wasn't really so surprising....) Okay, I have been guessing at her Númenórean background for ages now.... and never never never never never imagined that! Wow! Just.......... wow. But she met Finrod in the Undying Lands!!! (In her usual manner, with foot firmly inserted in mouth.....) Just how incredibly cool is that? *squeeeeeeeeee* (Has Amarië been properly knocked up, er, off, er, out of Finrod's way, in your 'verse? If not, I might know some people who might know some people.........) And yet again, you raise more questions about Haleth's background than answers.... like, how did she get to Middle-earth, and how did Finrod join her there? And how did he avoid killing her all those years they were together in ME? I mean, *she* thought *he* was obtuse! *rolls eyes* As did we all.... Evil author. Harrumph! Okay, I may really want answers as soon as possible.... but, on the other hand, when this story (or the overall Haleth/Inglor arc) ends, I am going to be as bereft as I was when I read LoTR for the first time. You, my dear, have an incredibly fertile imagination! And, boy, do you love leaving your readers in shock and awe... and craving for more. - Barbara Author Reply: Ar-Pharty?! That's the first time I've heard that nickname. That's great! How did Haleth get to Middle-earth? Er...can I get back to you on that? I'm really glad that you're enjoying the story. I was really worried about how it would be received. Thank-you for reviewing. Haleth

I'm feeling nearly as confused as Silmarien, and very interested to know where we're going... Author Reply: I'm sorry. This section is very confusing. It's coming to its end soon and I hope you'll be patient with it. Haleth

Silmariën is having enough troubles with her own scraps of memories. Now she is confused with the influx of memories from the original Silmariën? Is she one or both? She is human - how can she be ReBorn? I know she isn't, that she is only named after the original, but I don't follow. Author Reply: Silmarien is only one person but she had a very complicated past. She is quite sure the memories that are being brought to light are hers, but she's not exactly in the best shape. Thank-you for reviewing, Lynn. Haleth

The meeting with Finrod was pretty cool. Still can't decide if she's experiencing a racial memory or a real one. I'm sure we'll find out soon enough. Looking forward to more. Author Reply: Thank-you for reviewing, Fiondil. Finrod is my absolute favourite Tolkien character. I aspire to be like him...except for the getting ripped the shreds by a werewolf part. The character thinks she's experiencing true memories. She's really messed up, though, so who's to say? Haleth

Poor Silmarien. She meant well. I liked her meeting with Finrod. Author Reply: She did mean well. It probably sounded brave when she said it but she hadn't thought it through. Thank-you for reviewing, Mysterious Jedi. Haleth
