I am just into chapter 2 and enjoying it immensely. I do enjoy elvish medicinal treatments too. It lends such depth and authenticity to the story. HOWEVER, if you are not going to research the herbs you reference, at least offer a prominent disclaimer the this is just for fun and not to be taken as genuine herbal advice. The case in point here is Arnica, which, according to a number of sources that I have, has never been known to have antibiotic properties. If I am mistaken and you do have a resource that references antibiotic properties for Arnica, I beg your pardon. I would be interested in adding that source to my library. Please e-mail me. I am returning now to your excellent story. Thank you Author Reply: Thank you so much for your review! Just so you know, I do extensive research on all of the herbs involved so that it stays true to the story. You can check here about the healing attributes of arnica. http://www.naturalnews.com/029118_arnica_healing.html# I hope you'll continue to read and enjoy the story.

They all rolled their eyes at once. Even Sam, huh? That is too cute! Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Good to see them working so well together. And glad they recognize that Frodo is in pain, too. Decided to continue reading and commenting here on this site. Hope you don't mind! Author Reply: Why ever would I mind, silly? I am so glad you're continuing to read, and I love getting your reviews.

Oh dear, poor Aragorn! However it is almost a shame that he is unconscious and unaware of snuggly hobbit. *grin* Author Reply: Ohhh...no fears, he will be mollycoddled to death and be in the same situation Frodo was at the beginning of this story.

Oh, dear! The hobbits are, of course, coping marvelously ... but I can't help but think we need some experienced elven healers. Soon. Lots of them. Including Elrond. But in the meantime, yes, they need to get Aragorn into the nice dry cave. And let poor Frodo rest. Then someone's going to have to go for help, probably Merry and Pippin. Frodo's in no condition to trek anywhere, and Sam will doubtless insist on staying with him. I could speculate more, but I don't want to give you any nasty ideas -- you obviously have enough of them already (channeling Budgie). Author Reply: The idea that I am channeling Budgie is the highest of compliments. Your notes on what needs to be done are already what I've planned (have you been peeking?) I am delighted you are enjoying the fic.

Oh, you really know what gets to me! I LOVE seeing hobbits take care of Big Folk, and I love seeing Frodo being a caregiver! It's so seldom we get the chance to see him being competent and in charge. Poor Aragorn, though! He's going to be feeling dreadful when he wakes! Author Reply: Such a pleasure to hear such a nice review from you, darling. I do so love injured Aragorn, angst, injured Frodo and it's high time we had Aragorn being tended isn't it? so glad you're enjoying it.
