Now, this ambassador certainly does sound as if he put on quite the show! But Aragorn would definitely stand out in any crowd should he so choose, no matter what he wore! Author Reply: I totally agree with you about Aragorn, Larner. He would definitely stand out in any crowd whatever he was wearing. He doesn't have to be a gaudy peacock for others to notice him. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it.

I have always thought the black and silver to be quietly elegant. I liked this colourful description. It reminded me of the team entrace scene in 'HP and the goblet of fire'. I always enjoy your vivid descriptions of clothing. Author Reply: I remember that scene, Harrowcat. It was indeed very colorful, but I agree with you that black and silver is quietly elegant, which is probably why Elendil chose that particular color scheme. I'm glad you enjoy my vivid descriptions of clothing (not everyone does). Thanks for letting me know. I really appreciate it.

Oh Fiondil, I think this is the very best chapter so far. The last line express it all, no matter what happens or what situation you find yourself in, a best friend can always make you feel like you can do any thing. thats got to be better than all the gemstones and pure black chargers in middle earth. Well done Mellon, this is going to be my favorite Author Reply: Hi eliza. Thank you so much for your lovely review. I totally agree with you that all the gemstones in the world don't add up to the honest love of a friend and Aragorn realizes this with Legolas' words of affirmation. I appreciate you taking the time to let me know how much you enjoyed this story. Thanks again.

Atto, Well, this is a colorful story! I loved all the descriptions. The Khandians were a surprise, lol! And I think Legolas is absolutely right (about everything!) Poor Aragorn! But I hope the meeting went well, after that, um, very odd opening! Perhaps your Muse would like us to know how it went? =) Tye-melin! Kaylee Author Reply: Hey Kaylee. I'm sure the meeting went well. And I'm glad you think Legolas was right about everything. Thanks for reading and reviewing. Tye-melin.

It is a very nice story. I remember when I was a child and read the Arabian nights stories (In my country it was named The One thousand and one nights). You always imagine those beautiful dresses, all colorful and silky, all the jewels and gold. Just beautiful. Well, I think that your ambassador overdo a little bit. In my home country, in the tropic, we tend to dress very colorful, a lot of flower prints in the fabrics, and bright, bright colors and we a lot of jewels. When I came to USA, it took me a while to dress down my colors, I couldn't understand why wearing black and grey in winter time, when in my mind, it was needed a lot of color to bright the days. That was in Ohio. Now I lived in Southern California and I'm getting back to the colors again. I thought that was a geographical thing. But then, I have a friend that lives in Sweden, and they dress with a lot of color in winter. So, maybe is cultural. Don't know. Anyway, sorry for all the nonsense comments, it just came to my mind. As usual, I love the way that you write the friendship between Aragorn and Legolas. Thank you Author Reply: Hi Fantasia. I suppose it might be a cultural thing. Last winter, which was particularly brutal here in the Northeast, I found myself very depressed and I realized that part of it was because all my clothes were drab colors, dark blues, grays and blacks. I went out and found brighter colored shirts - yellow and green, etc - and immediately felt better when I wore them. Anyway, I remember reading the Arabian Nights (or The One Thousand and One Nights as it was also called here) when I was a kid. I loved them and all the color descriptions. I will admit I had those stories and the musical Kismet in mind when I wrote the descriptions of the Khandians. Tanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it very much.

This is delightful. I wish an artist would capture this as well with ink as you have with words. Thank you. Author Reply: Glad you enjoyed this UTfrog. I wish an artist would capture this as well. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it.

That was a most delightful witty gap filler, which I very much enjoyed reading. It really lightened my day. It would have gotten one of my votes for Teitho this time. Unfortunately, I was a total nitwit and missed the deadline this time. Author Reply: Hi Estelcontar. I'm glad you enjoyed this and tat it lightened your day. I've missed a couple of deadlines myself, so don't feel too bad. Perhaps next time. Thanks for leaving a review. I appreciate it.

Well that was colourfull, if not to say gaudy! I think Aragorn is more interested in the man in the clothes than the clothes on the man. Bright clothing and ostentious trapping could hide a shrewd negotiator! Hope this makes sense, Huggs, Lynda Author Reply: Makes perfect sense, Lynda. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it very much.
