It sounds as if were a truly stunning experience for Legolas. And if it makes it easier to stay true to his love for his mortal friends, then it was truly worth all of the effort put into the crafting of the harps and the time spen within the Hallow. Author Reply: I'm sure that the experience helped him tremendously to stay true to his love for his mortal friends and his promise to remain until after Aragorn died, Larner, and the people of Middle-earth were made richer for it for now the first wind harps had been created and I'm sure they became very popular among the Elves and mortals. *grin* Thanks for commenting. I appreciate it very much.

Atto, Glorfi took such good care of Legolas here...you know, I think he should save those wind harps for Arwen! She'll need them to comfort her. *hugs Arwen* But anyway, I thought this was lovely. I can always use more Glorfindel, and Legolas of course!! Tye-melin, Kaylee P.S. Where can I get one? Author Reply: Hi Kaylee. Glorfi is good at taking care of people. *grin* And I have no idea where you can get one. I'd love one myself. You'll have to go online to see who makes and sells them. Thanks for reading and reviewing. Tye-melin.

Thought this was yours when I read it on the Teitho website. I very much enjoyed it, Glorfindel nearly always has the right answer! Helping Legolas in this way will enable him to withstand the pain of waiting for his Fellowship Brothers to pass. I don't think we will ever learn the depth of Glorfindel's powers, his own and the ones the Mair and Valar have taught him. I like him both ways you have written him, an Elf Lord in all his majesty and a Re-Born just learning his way again, they are both powerfull charecters. Huggs, Lynda Author Reply: Hi Lynda. I'm glad you enjoyed this. And I'm sure you're right that we will never fully grasp the depth of power Glorfindel has. I doubt even his fellow Elves in ME could, either. And I'm glad you like him from both ends of the spectrum. He is fun to write no matter what. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I really appreciate it.

Spirit Harps, you wrote about spirit harps!! *** claps hands merrily*** I had heard of them, thanks in part to my Native American heritage. lol. my grandmother would thank you profusely since she had tried to beat some stories into a little girls head who was more interested in Barbie dolls. Anyhoo. Lovely story (as usual). I enjoyed Aragorns little tantrum as if he can't stand to be left out of an adventure....whats that saying "boys do not grow wiser, only taller". lol. Not sure how I feel about Glorifindel reminding Legolas of the dangers of loving mortals, sort of unintentionally rubbing salt in an open wound though I know he would never intentionally hurt anyone. Thanks for taking care of legolas though... E Author Reply: Hi Eliza. So I made your day, did I? Or perhaps your Grandmother's day? *grin* Glorfindel, of course, is speaking from long experience. He doesn't actually tell Legolas not to have mortal friends but simply points out the dangers of an Elf having one. And I was very happy to take care of Legolas. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate very much.

what can I say apart from fantastic? Trust our Glorfindel to help our `youngling`. What a wonderful gift for Legolas. I had never imagined that anything could counter the sea-longing. In the movies I found it also odd to guard a tree but no longer after reading your sentence: "He hid a smile at the absurdity of Mortals feeling a need to guard a tree, but his amusement fled at the thought of two Trees that should have been guarded and were not." How true. I love this story so much and for me it´s first place. Thank you Lai. P.S. I could need such a wind harp for myself right now..... Author Reply: Hi Lai. It is indeed a wonderful gift, one that only Glorfindel could give. And guarding a tree may seem ridiculous at first glance but when life of the kingdom is bound up in said tree, people are going to make sure nothing happens to it. I'm glad you enjoyed this tale, Lai. Thanks for reading and reviewing and letting me know. I appreciate it very much.

Beautiful, just beautiful. How wise our Glorfindel is after so many years. I'm sure they won't recognize him in Valinor. I wonder how surprised they will be with him after his return. I'm sure that his experiences in ME gave him a different knowledge that cannot be achieved in Valinor. Author Reply: Hi Fantasia. Yes, our Glorfindel has gained much wisdom over the millennia. I'm sure many in Aman would be shocked and surprised to see it. LOL! Glad you enjoyed this story. Thanks for letting me know. It's much appreciated.

What a precious gift Glorfindel gave to Legolas! Oh, Fiondil, this was just astoundingly beautiful. As I move through the discords of my day, I'll keep this in mind, and seek for the Music within my own heart to find comfort. I think the only unanswered question is now: What is Glorfindel going to do with the wind harps? :) Thank you, and Well Done! Author Reply: Hi Rhyselle. Perhaps Glorfindel gifted them to Aragorn and gave him the instructions for building them so other could enjoy them and I'm sure Legolas took at least one of them with him to his own lands. I am glad that you enjoyed this tale. Thanks for letting me know. I appreciate it very much.

That's a very beautiful, and powerful story. I'd love to come across one of those harps myself. Author Reply: Thanks, Shirebound. I appreciate you letting me know how much you enjoyed this. You can hear what Aeolian harps sound like by going to YouTube. There are several selections, all of them quite interesting and hauntingly beautiful in sound.
