'Remembering the madness.' Dear Frodo. I am truly surprised that he agreed to write 'that' again. To have to endure each of the terrors that he had been subjected to is almost beyond comprehension. And to do it alone. I love the remembrance of Sam. Bless his heart. Faithful and true to the very end. It must have been such a joy-filled moment when Sam finally steps off that boat and meets his beloved Frodo. *weeps* Gandalf had warned dear Frodo of becoming a wraith. To think that the feelings he was going through were wraith-like is intolerable. And to feel like that in Valinor, of all places. He desperately needs Este by his side. Ad for the groans -- hooray! Hooray! Boromir lives. But to wake thinking that all was lost. I'm so glad Frodo was with him. Can't wait for the next chapter. Author Reply: I agreed at first that Bilbo's idea that Frodo essentially write the Red Book over again was a rather thing to ask for the same reason. I just read in a book about PTSD (reading for research purposes for this story and others - I love research!) that writing about what was so traumatic and writing about it repeatedly is actually part of healing. During the moment the horror is happening, your brain can't process it correctly and put the memories in neat little pieces like a normal experience would be processed. But each time you write of it, you can remember and process a little bit more of it and the horror/fear/terror of it will lose its grip over you. Frodo hasn't reached that point yet but eventually, hopefully, he will. What is more interesting is that I wrote of this before I read about its usefulness in the PTSD book. so glad you dropped me the note that you were continuing this story. i went back and re-read that version after reading this one; they are both worth commenting on. i like how you have filled out frodo's part so that he is enjoying what he can and writing to improve what he remembers. i don't read works in progress as a rule but if you update regularly i'll make an effort to track your efforts. good luck! Author Reply: Thanks, nancylea! I plan on updating every Saturday. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

I remember that first chapter; the idea of Boromir, his body uncorrupted, appearing on the Western Shore - and I am fascinated at this continuation. I am looking forward to the future chapters with interest. Author Reply: Thanks! I'm hope to meet your expectations! :) Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Now, that realization would have been a supreme shock! So glad his memories of Sam continue to sustain him. Author Reply: Yeah, that groan kinda freaked him out but as we will see in a happy way. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

By Boromir's side would be a good place to dwell on difficult memories. You do write angst so gently and well. Now Boromir groans...... can't wait! Author Reply: Another review, my dear, you are too kind! :) It's lovely to write a cliff-hanger again. Couldn't resist ending with one here. :) :) Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Oh my goodness! I wasn't expecting that. What a moving and emotional chapter. He needed to see the peacefulness of the man before remembering the madness makes so much sense for Frodo. Author Reply: Thank you, my dear - glad you enjoyed! :) Namarie, God bless, Antane :)
