| This is cute. I can imagine the glee Glorfindel felt at this charade and also the embarrassment of some household members on calling Elrond 'Ada'. Author Reply: Yikes! | This sounds like the kind of story that the elves will be teasing Aragorn with years later! The small child who didn't give up in the face of a targeted campaign from a household of elves and managed to last for two months... That tells much about just how stubborn Aragorn was, and that same inability to give in made later it possible for him to get his throne. Great story, Fiondil. | How delightful. It was such a drastic change for little Estel, but he came through with flying colors. As he grew older, he would once again find out about his real father and who he was. | I read this over on Teitho and thought it was yours. I am not sure how I would have handled this, but it seems that total immersion would work. It would probably have been eaisier had Aragorn been either a little younger or old enough to understand that he had to be hidden. Glorfindel, of course would have delighted in calling Elrond 'Ada'! Huggs, Lynda Author Reply: I think total immersion was the only real solution. Aragorn was just old enough to know something was not as it should be but too young to be able to sit him down and reason with him. | I'm sure there were weeks, perhaps even months, before Glorfindel left off the custom. Cheeky little Elf! Nicely done, though terribly sad for the Dowager Queen. I like each of the characters as you've drawn them. Especially Elrond. I'm glad he spent time near Estel's side. How could the little one call him Ada if he didn't act like one? Author Reply: I imagine Glorfindel was the last to give up calling Elrond "Ada". Cheeky little Elf, indeed. LOL!
