| So difficult, trying to hold onto himself. Author Reply: I'm so glad you reviewed, my dear Larner! I was afraid this little bunny was too strange for anyone to comment on. It was such a dark AU too, what if they had made it to the Fire but the Ring was not destroyed? Sam knew they had to stay in Mordor until it could be but his poor master was now mad because Gollum had tried to force it from him and that was too much for Frodo to bear as he already knew it would be.
