| So great to wake up on a Sunday to see this story continue, MJ. Now enough of all the descriptions and let's get on with the court. LOL! I really shouldn't complain since most of my trial/court scenes generally take 3 or 4 chapters to describe. Anyway, looking forward to the next chapter with bated breath. And all kidding aside, your description of the court was quite vivid and easily 'seen'. A rare gift. Author Reply: Thank you so much (she says, and would be blushing if her blusher hadn't broken years ago, lol -- and thank YOU for not spelling "bated" as "baited," it's a pet peeve of mine ;D). | There is no question that Rackham's illustrations are well worth deep examination! I have probably seen some by the illustrator you named, but I couldn't say exactly when or in which books. All sounds most fair, and I so love the description of Manwe's own appearance! So gorgeous! And the robes prepared for Frodo and Bilbo sound perfect for them! Author Reply: I first saw Wulfing's illustrations on postcards and as an overall print on a t-shirt back when I was in college in the early '70s, so I imagine they have popped up in many places since. They are quite lovely, and were a wonderful inspiration for this part of the story. Thanks ever so much for taking a moment to review! | |
