Yes, the Father has a way of making things turn out as they are intended in spite of us, using us as His hands. Author Reply: He does indeed. Thank you for continuing to read and review! :)

Oh, I know all about protective coloring, MJ. When Námo shows up as Nate in my Elf Academy series, he's always wearing a black duster. Sunny thinks he's pretending to be Harry Dresden. I wouldn't be surprised if he were. LOL! Anyway, a most enjoyable chapter with a most intersting discussion about customs and their origins, always a fascinating topic for an armchair anthropologists like myself. Hope you're doing better. Stay warm. Author Reply: Hmm, does that mean that Namo's hiding a sawed-off shotgun and other unexpected implements of death and destruction under that duster? *winkwinkLOL* I'm doing okay and surviving the cold (though I wish it would give up and give spring a chance). Thanks for asking, and thank you as always for reading and reviewing. :)

I enjoyed this very much: "Kindling the log kindled the joy in your own heart, and you shared it freely with everyone you met during Yuletide. That is magic of its own kind." It's lovely that Frodo and Bilbo are learning so much more about their own culture -- as well as sharing ideas with their new friends. And to imagine that Sam's arrival is already being anticipated with joy by so many folk makes my heart happy. Author Reply: I'm so glad it does! And I do daresay that others are learning things about Hobbit culture they should have learned literally ages ago. :) Thanks for reading and reviewing!
