Haleth is up to something, of that I am sure. Glad to see you writing again. I missed this story. Author Reply: Hello, Tari You know Haleth well. She's probably up to something. Thank-you for the review. Haleth

Thank you for the quick update. Some protection :) Are they trying to drive her to extremes on purpose? I can't believe anyone, elf or not, would be so clueless about anyone's psychology, mortal or not. This would have been a very funny chapter, if not for those dark hints about terrible secrets in Haleth's past. Author Reply: Hello, Twoflower2 I'm going to do my level best to bring the average interval between posts to less than six months. It's hard to imagine what Haleth would need protection from in her current circumstances (except herself). And when there's nothing concrete to act on, people tend to make stuff up. Wonderful chapter, Haleth! Loved seeing the fierceness of our dear Haleth resurfacing! I think Elrond was lucky that she held her anger so greatly in check - though, I do think it was wise that the 'body guards' disarmed her! I'm so glad things aren't further complicated for poor Haleth by constantly having Inglor on her mind! ;-) Why do I have the feeling that Haleth is actually Inglor's sister who has been re-born as a mortal by mistake?! So intrigued to see what's going to happen at Lorien! My favourite line: ‘No. These dark circles under my eyes are the latest fashion rage in Tirion. Do you like them? Mine are the biggest and darkest,’ she thought. LOL at that one! That's exactly what I would have thought after being asked such a ridiculous question (especially by someone who is all too aware of the entire situation...) Well done! Can't wait to read Chapter 38! :-) Author Reply: Hello, endorarwen I agree. Taking away Haleth's weapons was the smartest thing the two of them did. Reborn as a mortal by mistake. That's an interesting concept. Thank-you for the review. Haleth

Oh my goodness - poor Haleth! They would drive me batty, too! Author Reply: No one likes being treated as though they are helpless. The wisest thing they did was to take her weapons away. And the feeling of being under constant surveillance...ugh. I don't think they meant any harm. The situation just got out of control. Thank-you for the review. Haleth

I was pleasantly surprised to see a new chapter from you so soon. Poor Haleth. It's a good thing they took her knives away, because those two ellyn would've ended up having tea with Námo otherwise. Loved the way she ranted about Elrond's study. Poor Elrond. I don't think he has a degree in psychiatry. He probably felt a bit out of his depth here. I hope Haleth does go to Lórien. She needs the healing, though I suspect if she were to go, Lórien would never be the same again. *grin* Glad to see the story continuing, Haleth. Looking forward to the next chapter and hope it's soon. Author Reply: Hello, Fiondil "...because those two ellyn would've ended up having tea with Námo otherwise..." You really have a way with words! Now I have a mental image of the three of them having tea, being distracted for a few minutes, coming back to the table and discovering all of the silver teaspoons gone. It's true that Haleth needs healing but she's also remarkably resistant to it. It's like her pain is an integral part of her identity. Sending Haleth to Lorien would be like sending an over-energetic teenager to a convent where the nuns were all over 60 and had taken a vow of silence. It would be a disaster! Thank-you for the review. Haleth
