Smart move keeping the parents and sons separated on the way to Wiseman. Could have been a long ride otherwise with sulking parents/children. This way they could talk to other people and learn a bit more about the other elves. I'm really curious about the surprise. But it can't be really bad. Olorin is too relaxed for that. Author Reply: Hi obsidianj. It certainly made the drive nicer for them all, keeping the parents and sons separated. And you're right. Olórin is far too relaxed, so whatever the surprise is, it can't be too bad. *grin* Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it very much.

It's good to see the gang from Wiseman is helping the brothers and parents to mend fences. The shock isn't over yet and all four of them will have some time going before things are smooth again, but it's a start. It would indeed be interesting to see if there are more Elves about like the ap Hywels, living among Mortals and what part they'll have to play in the Valar's masterplan. Mortal born is a term Iseult and Tristan will have to get used too. Now what is going on in Wiseman, that's the question that will keep us busy until friday (evil, evil monday cliffy lol! ) There was a reason why it was convenient the wedding date was delayed and I have a feeling what is going on now has something to do with it. Grinning at the tame Maiar comment, no most Maiar are not really what you would call tame. If there wasn't anything up yet, Olórin being there is a sure sign something is up! (And a good practice for the ap Hywels, yet another encounter with one of the powers). And Olórin is smirking just a little too much... Let's hope for Glorfindel's sake of surprises it's only the Maiar coming up with the own wedding decoration and needing to show off (somehow, I don't think that's the case lol) Speaking of both Olórin and geeky t-shirts in one chapter, I stumbled across some designs he might enjoy! http://wirdoudesigns.deviantart.com/art/You-Shall-Not-Pass-349124306 http://wirdoudesigns.deviantart.com/art/Fly-you-fools-350440607

Hmmm...curiouser and curiouser. Heh, and I'm rather interested in hearing about Finda's stupid moment. Perhaps one day we will get lucky. Loving the story, as always. Author Reply: Hi Tira. Maybe we'll find out about Finda's stupid moment someday. I'm glad you are still enjoying the story. Thanks for letting me know. I really appreciate it.

It is understandable that Gareth is a bit upset about how that meeting with Nell went. He missed out on a lot, and the fact that they didn't even know each other at all doesn't help. It has to be strange to be practically married to someone you don't know at all! Seeing that some of the Valinórean Elves know Tulcafindil and his wife, this might make things easier for Iseult and Tristan to finally start talking about their past. And knowing that there was a purpose behind their own staying and not sailing might help them to come to terms with the not so amiable parting with their families, who knows? At least I hope they won't take it badly. We all know not all Elves like to be influenced, after all. Oh, that would have been sad if Edhellond had been torn down. How good the Elves came along right in time. Do you think the Valar had something to do with the house being available? Now that is strange, all the Elves gone with no notice. I just hope there's not happened another catastrophe, like the attack on Glorfindel. Olórin turning up didn't help there, until he smirked so much. Then my first thought was if maybe Elrond and Celebrían have arrived with more wedding guests, seeing it's only two days away, but on the other hand, it doesn't seem to be making much sense to send them to the college, of all places, seeing as they don't really know anything about the world as it is now. That place would be a bit public for a first meeting, so I really don't know what to think. Oh well, only two more days and a few hours and I will hopefully know more. Author Reply: Hi Kitty. I'm sure that having a whole year at least before the wedding, this will give Gareth and Nell plenty of time to get to know one another more and accept that they were "made for each other". Hopefully, meeting people who know Tulcafindil and his family will help the ap Hywels lighten up about things. Author Reply: Hi Kitty. Anyway, as to the mystery of why Edhellond was found deserted and why Olórin is leading them toward the college, you'll learn soon enough. *grin* Thanks for reviewing. I appreciate it.

Atya, Curiouser and curiouser, to quote another favourite book of mine. :) But I imagine Olorin knows what he's about, even if the rest of them have no idea... My guess? Earendil brought Tristan and Iseult's families to join them for the wedding. Oh, and Celeborn, Galadriel, Elrond, Celebrian...and the Valar. *grin* Anyway, I'm probably completely wrong, but I'll see soon. :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8IeF9xfvyJQ I thought I had better share this with you in honor of Gwyn and Gareth's parents. This is what I think of whenever I see their names... Have a Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you have lots of fun :) Tye-melin, Atya. Kaylee Author Reply: Hi Kaylee. Well, you won't have long to wait to know if you're right or not about the surprise. *grin* The story of Tristan and Iseult is quite famous (Wagner did an entire opera about them) and typically Celtic. Thanks for reviewing. Have a Happy Thanksgiving, too. Tye-melin.

Gandalf! And enjoying trolling I see XD I think Olorin spent far too much time with Merry & Pippin back in the day =p Now you've got me all curious as to the surprise~ Author Reply: Hi Bookworm. I suspect you're right about Olórin spending too much time with Merry and Pippin but he could've done worse, don't you think? *grin* Anyway, you won't have to wait long to learn what the surprise is. Thanks for reading and reviewing. It's greatly appreciated.

Well we know about Tristan's family, or some of it, what about Iseult's family? No, they did not do their sons any favors by not, at the very least telling them some of their history, even if it was just a quick family tree. That sort of thing has a nasty habit of coming back and biting! Well they seem to have mended the fences, or at least made a start. I am wondering if the surprise at the collage has any thing to do with wedding guests? Yes, I know, wait until Friday. It will give me some thing to unwind with when I get in at 4a.m., you should have it posted by then. That is assuming I am even working, the jury is still out on that. My foot has been extremely pain full for the last four days, so off to the Dr.s I went today, x-rays, blood tests, possibly an auto-immune problem, I get the results on Wednesday, till then it is elevate it and ibuprofen! Oh, Joy! Hobbles up to Cliff House and settles in to wait, contemplates installing elevator. Huggs, Lynda Author Reply: Hi Lynda. Sorry to hear about your foot. Hope it's nothing serious, but staying off it for a few days should help. I don't envy anyone who has to be on their feet all day. It's brutal. Anyway, I'm still trying to find out about Iseult's family. She's been a bit tightlipped about it for some reason. At least the boys know something about their dad's family and that's a start. Perhaps we'll learn more later. As for the surprise.... Hope you have a happy Thanksgiving. Thanks for reviewing. I appreciate it. Hugs back.

Oh no you cant'n do this to me! I have to know what is waiting for them at school. Now I have to wait a whole week! Can' t you give us a clue "please". I am sure that the miar just love being annoying for the sake of it.He! He! Love Galathil Author Reply: Sorry, galathil. To give you any clue would spoil it. I promise, though, it's not anything bad. I hope everyone will be happy when they see what the surprise is all about. Until then, hang in there. Friday's only a few days away. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I greatly appreciate it.

Everyone is going to jump out and yell, "Surprise". And Olorin is in on it, because it fits his sense of humor really well. Glad to see a little bit of familial rebuilding going on. ~Eruherdiriel Author Reply: We'll have to see, won't we? I'm sure the ap Hywels will be just fine once the boys get past their anger and the parents get past their reluctance to speak about their past. Being around the Wiseman Elves should help. Thanks for reading and reviewing, Eruherdiriel. It's appreciated.
