| It is good he is allowing Boromir to be his companion through all of it this time--I suspect it made it easier to perceive the aid offered him by the Powers. Author Reply: I think that was a big step for him and one I wasn't expecting. But it brought him and me to my favorite part of this chapter - that it was Boromir's light that Frodo saw and protected him. Perhaps he will let his 'big brother' be there for more.
