| Such a lovely celebration! I adored Frodo's rescue of Pippin, lol! (Is that what they call "tit for tat"?) As always, so many little details bring the story to life, like the fact that a feast was managed, that was truly a feast, yet did not deplete the food store in view of the weather emergency. Beregond! How I love to catch a glimpse of him. And Bergil, of course. And somehow I find this AU quite comforting. Author Reply: Wow, I can't believe I never answered these comments! Yes, it certainly is "tit for tat"; Frodo has a habit of rescuing Pippin that goes back to Pip's faunthood, LOL! Well, Beregond is Faramir's Captain, and Bergil is a Guardsman of the Citadel, so it made sense for them to have accompanied their lieges. I also find it comforting--it's quite a happy AU | |
