Hmm. The Enemy is hijacking the dreams, eh? And they must find out for themselves what the dreams are and mean. I hope that they can get Glorfindel to agree to all of this!

I love Ron's notes. Especially the descriptions of his skills "jaw dropping squared". They made me laugh. The rest of the notes are a bit sobering and that the Valar don't know how to treat "fading" is troublesome. It seems the facade of the all-knowing, allmighty "overlords" cracks. Good for Ron to get annoyed at them. I think the best treatment for Glorfindel would be to see his mortal friends as soon as possible.

Atya, I know Time has no meaning for you, so I trust a late review won't matter to you or the Beta Amiga nettenyar. I've just been rereading this whole chapter again and again with no way to word what I want to say. "Ron is awesome" doesn't seem to be enough. Sitting down to a meeting with THREE Valar IN A CAFE and not freaking out? Yeah, Ron is awesome. (Much more awesome than a certain OTHER Ron with which I share half my DNA and wish I did not. >_< This is why I wanted you for my real Atto, because you're awesome and he isn't. But since I couldn't have you I wish I had Vorondur.) I do hope the awesomeness of Ron can keep Glorfi from fading!!! *crosses fingers for Glorfi* Tye-melin, Kaylee

OK, I have to say I love that ended in banana splits! Vorondur has been given a lot to think--and worry--about. Clearly Lord Namo wants to give more of a warning than allowed. But his hints, I think, will only make sense in hindsight. Thank you again for continuing to bring this story to us.

I really, really, really like Ron! And his comments on Glorfy are a hoot! And I enjoyed the way he was butting heads with _three_ of the Valar and not giving an inch.

Hah! For some reason, throughout the chapter, my brain kept insisting that the chapter title was "Showdown at the OK Cafe"! "Average by elvish standards" - this made me laugh. Loren is not the be-all and end-all of elvishness, as I might have thought... (and my spellchecker very seriously wanted to make him the be-all and end-all of Elvis...) I love Ron's thoughtful response to Namo's question about his hostility. Thank you for the review reply, for the explanation of fading -- and this chapter helps make it clearer. Chilling. (While inside, a little voice is wailing, "No-o-o-o-o-o! Save Glorfindel!") Calling a priest instead? Could that be a certain dream-deceased priest who tried to reassure Loren earlier? Am halfway through my second (and final) cup of coffee, and I need to get to work, but thank you for helping jumpstart my brain this morning.

The only word I have for this chapter is 'WOW!!!' I love Ron's appraisal of Glorfindel at the beginning of his notes. And the conversation with the Valar - Well... I'm with Ron. In the event of the End of the World I want to be where Glorfindel is - even fading.
