| What is the worth of an advisor if he always agrees with his Lord? And I am quite sure that Faramir is right with his advice. He is very talented with politics and diplomacy whereas Boromir is a born warrior. Author Reply: In his heart of hearts Denethor knew that Faramir was right; but Sauron was already doing his best to sow division and suspicion between father and his younger son and anyone else likely to speak sense to the Steward. | |
