| So, Glorfindel starts to remember at least some of his dreams. That spider story sounded very creepy. That backpacking trip sounds great. I hope they have a quiet time, but I don't hold my breath. | |

| Atya, Beta Amiga nettenyar, It's been too long since I've left a review, though I've been reading all along. Real Life has been whacking me over the head, and Atya's last story has been sweeping me up, that's my only excuse. Glorfindel's, um, adventure with the Mirkwood spiders was one of the creepiest things ever, and if I was able to I'd have been emailing Atto asking him what Glorfi thought he was doing running into spiders like that. I'm so glad Radagast was there to save him! It seems like the Elves are going to have an interesting time of it on their camping trip, and I have to wonder if maybe an artifact was hidden somewhere in Alaska...Are the Elves going to play Indiana Jones? I hope Wiseman will remain safe. On a more personal note, Atto might be pleased to note (assuming Lord Namo and Eru will tell him) that I've begun the process to apply to the SCA for membership. He was the Honorable Lord Dietrich Wenceslas von Brandeis of the Barony of Delftwood in the Kingdom of AEthelmearc, and I'm submitting my name, arms and badge as Sophie Brandeis of Southern Shores, Principality of the Mists, Kingdom of the West. My 31st birthday was yesterday, and Atto Fiondil's birthday would've been the 13th, so this is my gift to myself and Atto. (For those who are conversant with the Known World of the SCA and its Kingdoms and subdivisions, I should be easier to find now. :P Not that I would mind my fellow Fiondilie finding me, especially SCAdians.) I've used elements of Atto Fiondil's coat of arms for mine, though I couldn't inherit them without a heraldic will, which he didn't leave. I put a Sun-in-Eclipse on mine to honor him, however. Anyway, before I ramble on forever and ever, I'll close this review and just say that I'll try to be more consistent with reviews from now on. Settling back in at the Cliff House to wait for the next installment, and with love to my Fiondilie including the Beta Amiga nettenyar, Kaylee Arafinwiel (soon, hopefully, to be Sophie Brandeis) | |
