| Elrond is so wise... and so sneaky! What a marvelous suggestion, to have Aragorn 'test' the curative which will help him, as well. I believe the Ring and Frodo are engaged in a great war of wills with one another and it is this that has robbed him of any progress he should have made in his recuperation. Poor Frodo. What an exhausting, courageous battle. Author Reply: I admit I trapped myself just before this chapter, on how to explain the malaise. The next chapter should be interesting, don't you think? | |
