Ouch! Spending ~100 years as prisoners/slaves just because they needed to be at the right place at the right time hurt. I can understand that the twins are not happy about it. Alas, we still don't know what the talisman is. But I think it will be revealed soon.

I like this chapter. Is it the Arkenstone? The Arkenstone was not as big as a silmaril but was of the same "carat". If it had weapon capabilities them it very well could be the Arkenstone. The silmarils were only capable of giving light...I think. With Eonwe involved...who knows! Thank you for your hard work.

Realizing that one is being shepherded into enforced servitude in this manner would be enough to make anyone bitter, I'd think. But at least we are learning the fuller story here.

Some how I don't think the jewel in the hilt is a Silmarill, considering how brilliant the Silmarill are described as being. I think it is more along the lines of the Heart of the Mountain, from the Hobbit or a very large diamond. Any body know when the Guardians of the Talisman comes out? We'll wait until it comes out on DVD and have a viewing party at the Cliff House.:) Lynda

Eönwë is hilarious. Sorry, but there is no other word for that. *g* So, is it a Silmaril now or is it not? Inquiring minds want to know. And if it is one, what might its purpose be? Questions, questions, questions. Thanks for making it possible for us to read this tale. I might not review often (not nice of me, I know, but RL is a real bother at the moment), but I do read and am thankful for the opportunity to do so.
