(It may be too late to post this comment, but I didn't get around to reading this story until about 3 years after it was published, because I hadn't discovered this website yet, but I'll add a couple of other things, just in case you're still getting messages from your old stories): It was so sad that he was angry with Fingon for saving his life, even if he wasn't able to save all of him. I like to think that Meadhros should have/would have been grateful from the get-go. But I'm so glad they made up in a later chapter. And I think you got it right that Celebrimbor was stubborn. If not, then he might have listened to Galadriel (and Elrond And Gil-Galad AND Cirdan) when they tried to warn him not to trust "Annatar." BTW, forgive my use of names. I don't speak Quenya :) | |
