| At least he prevailed. (In the book it was Frodo who blinded Shelob's eye. Am glad in the movie it still happened.) Author Reply: In the book Sam blinded Shelob's eye- "Sam sprang in, inside the arches of her legs, and with a quick upthrust of his other hand stabbed at the clustered yes.upon her lowered head. One great eye went dark." I love the Choices of Master Samwise so much and there is so much room to write more around it. :) | |
