| Great tale. I loved Pip trying so hard to do the trick and show his sister how grown he was. I loved the bucket... and, though Merry and Vince were useless, I'm glad Pearl was there.... but I see that Pip didn't learn anthing much - 'cept that Merry and Vince were useless! The dog wondered about me as I was laughing out loud as I read this. Thank you for the laugh! Author Reply: Thank you! I hope you were able to explain to the dog what was going on. LOL I do have fun putting Pippin in troubling situations as long as I have someone around to get him out again! | |

| LOL. I had read this before but I saw it here again today and decided I just must read it again and leave a review for you. *laughs* I just love this, expecially the title 'Bucket!' (I don't know why but for some reason I am overly fond of any title that has an exclamation point in it). I could just picture little Pippin's voice echoing inside that bucket... aww and I felt so bad for him (while I was laughing) when the water was hitting it! The ending was perfect with Pippin asking Pearl if she wants to see him walk on his hands later, lol! So like Pippin to disregard all the turmoil in face of having some fun. I really liked your characterization of Pearl, and those of the rest of the bunch, great job! *chuckling* Author Reply: I like titles written that way too as you can tell. | Pippin really is irrepressible. It figures that all he learned from that mess was "I can walk on my hands." LOL Author Reply: That's Pip looking on the bright side and being quick to forget problems once they're solved. He's lucky that Pearl was around. Thanks for the review! | |

| "I love that shirt!" LOL, somehow that's not something I ever imagined hearing Merry say. Pippin didn't learn very much from that experience - other than Vinca and Merry are useless. Author Reply: Yes, well, I thought Merry might have a favorite shirt, but then maybe it was just a bit of a stretch. LOL Thanks for reading. | |

| Pippin thinking he was going to be trapped in a bucket forever, poor guy! I laughed thorugh the whole thing! I like the way you write Pearl, calm in the face of a problem such as this must have been difficult! Thank for asuch a fun story! Author Reply: As the oldest, I think Pearl would have to be the one in charge and calm in the face of trouble. It's a tough job but someone has to do it. | |

| Omigosh! Why do you always do this to me in the middle of the night? I'm having silent hysterics here! This is the funniest one yet! I could picture all this so easily--you are a genius! Pip with the bucket on his head, Merry and Pervinca bickering over getting it off. I loved Pearl in this one, not even losing her cool when she took a tumble getting it off. "Merry and Pervinca were useless." (snort*wheeze*chuckle*wipe tears) You keep this up, and some night I'm going to wake everybody up and it will be *all your fault*! (giggle*chuckle*snigger) Author Reply: Hey, we night owls love company and so we try to keep everyone else awake too! When you do wake them, you may blame me for all of it, Or you could take the hobbit way out and bribe them with food. Feed them and then send them back to bed. I am such a trouble maker. It may be why I am attracted to Merry and Pippin. I am so glad Pearl came off as the calm one in this. I discribed her that way in the original story and was trying to keep her true to character. Took me a while to come up with a way for Pip to get a bucket stuck on his head and so I am glad to see that it worked. Get some rest because I plan to post another one of these tomorrow night. LOL | |
