| Now it is poor Frodo! Having had doggie encounters with our momma skunk, I know how fun these can be. Author Reply: Skunks are so sweet-looking but they can be so much trouble, can't they? I do hope there was a shire remedy for skunk smell or Frodo was most likely sleeping outside for quite a while. | |

| I like Pippin's version of names, particularly Bobo. Little ones have such a hard time with names and they make up the most interesting variants. Poor Frodo, getting skunked, but he was being far too complacent with Pippin, he needed a bit of a lesson, I think, lol. Author Reply: Frodo was really in the wrong place at the wrong time on this one. I guess when it comes to Pippin, Merry knows what's best even though Frodo is older. Thanks for reading! | |

| That was great! At least there wasn't a snake to be found! But a skunk? Oh dear! And Frodo got it instead of Merry! | Well, for once it was daytime when I read this, LOL! I saw at once where this one was going--and that made it even more hilarious. Notice that even at this young age, Pippin has a penchant for finding trouble, and that Merry even then *knows* this. Hopefully, Frodo will have learned to listen to Merry when it comes to Pippin from here on out. How long do you suppose it takes skunk to wear off? Author Reply: No clue how long it would take the skunk smell to wear off but having smelled skunk in passing, I'd guess that it takes far too long. LOL Glad you enjoyed this one. I have a feeling that there will be more of them. Looking forward to more of you story also. (hint hint) | |
