Cute! I like Pippin's namesake, his patience, very long fuse, understanding, and all that good stuff. Happy Yule! Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: Perry possibly has the longest fuse in the Shire, and he can certainly relate to feeling as though he must prove himself. He's a good example for Pippin. :) Thanks for reading, dear! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

And history threatens to repeat itself, apparently! Delightful, and I'm rather glad that Amber decided she didn't want the sheep involved after all. Poor sheep! Love Perry's inclusion, of course. How wonderful a Hobbit he proved to be! Ami had perfect instincts! Author Reply: Pippin did turn out to be very much like his Uncle Perry after all. Heather is quite sensible for a Took - she'd realize that anything given to the sheep probably wouldn't make it down the aisle! :P Don't feel sorry for the sheep. I'm sure they're happy to just sleep in their pen all day. :D Perry is finding life among the Tooks to be quite eventful. I don't doubt that he's enjoying the visit immensely, and everyone now is able to see for themselves how worthy Perry is. Thanks for reading!

You paint a vivid picture. I found myself holding my breath that they reached the treasure trove. Clever to whistle for dogs. Author Reply: Oh yes, Merry would know about the dogs, wouldn't he, with Frodo as his teacher. ;) Thanks for reading!

LOL!!! That was a funny story! I enjoyed it a great deal! It was nice to see Ami and Perry involved and Frodo got to rescue his Merry again. And best of all: the sheep :-) Thank you very much and happy New Year! Author Reply: Thank you so much, Andrea! I'm glad you got a laugh out of this! Ami and Perry are finding life in Tookland to be exciting as ever. ;) Frodo arrives just in time to save the day. Sheep should be mandatory at every New Year's celebration. :D Happy New Year to you!

Aw, Pippen, ya gotta' love him! Lynda Author Reply: He's the dearest thing, isn't he? Glad you enjoyed this!

Oh, Sweet Eru! Pippen on chocolate is almost as bad as a Balrog on steroids! Lynda Author Reply: Hehehe! I think the Balrog would run away. Too bad Gandalf didn't think of that strategy. :P Pippin is bad enough even without the sugar rush. I think Bilbo will be finding harder to open jars for Pippin's next visit. Thanks for reading!

LOL I thought Pervinca was up to something the entire time but then, all she really did was watch. Clever lass. Author Reply: Pervinca knows when to simply stand back and watch the mayhem unfold, and when to give it a little nudge. There was no need for her helping hand in this instance! lol! Glad you got a laugh from this!

Poor Frodo--experiencing again the excesses of enthusiasm to which his younger cousin is prone! And perhaps a few extra chores will help inspire some temperance on the part of Pippin! Heh! Author Reply: Frodo should be resting easier tonight, now that his new "friend" is free. :) And I'm quite sure those two will find trouble while doing their chores, too! Thanks for reading.

Oh my word! Poor Frodo! Of course, Pippin meant well. He almost always *means* well. And I am quite sure that he thought Frodo should have a pet to keep him company. But still, poor Frodo! *snicker*snerk*giggle* Loved Frodo throwing Eglantine's robe over it-- I'm certainly glad she was wearing a nightie, or everyone would have been in WORSE trouble! *chortle* Author Reply: Yes, poor Frodo. I'm certain he would't mind a pet if it were the right sort of pet... like a bullfrog, for instance. ;) Pippin was only thinking of his cousin's welfare, all alone in that big empty smial. I'm sure they're *all* glad that Eglantine was still wearing her nightgown! What a riot that would have been! Thanks for reading! Glad this gave you a laugh!

LOL, Pervinca's life is anything but dull, and she's enjoying it immensely. This was a fun story. Author Reply: She certainly is! And she has the good sense to stay well away from the commotion. ;D Thanks for reading!
